Golf Le Rovedine

Campo inserito in un contesto urbano per cui in molte buche il rumore dell’autostrada è un po’ fastidioso. Comunque bel percorso e buona manutenzione.

Im Mai 2023 an einem Montag (11-14.30) gespielt. Vorher hatte es sehr viel geregnet! Kein Wunder, dass die Fairways recht hoch waren und die Greens langsam. Aber der Parklandplatz ist wirklich sehr schön, ganz flach, viel Wasser mit neugierigen Sumpfschildkröten, lange aber fair. Vor allem die Par3 haben es in sich! An den Rändern des Platzes leben ganz viele Hasen, die von Greenkeeper-Hunden dezimiert werden (grausam aber wirkungsvoll). Rundherum allerdings Stadtautobahn und Bahn. Wer es ruhig mag, muss raus aus der Stadt.

Ich glaube, da es sich um einen Stadtplatz handelt, sind die Menschen gehetzt. Man kommt nicht dazu, die schöne Anlage zu genießen. Unser Mitspieler (ohne T-Time) war überhaupt ein extrem unkollegialer Speedgolfer - aber dafür kann ja der Club nix. Glücklicherweise verabschiedete er sich nach den ersten 9 Löchern. Blieben nur noch die drei Herren hinter uns, die ständig Druck machten, obwohl wir vorne anstanden.

Irritierend fanden wir, dass die Locals auf die Greenkeeper überhaupt keine Rücksicht nahmen und einfach drauflos ballerten...

Was außerdem anstrengend war, waren die Spieler, die sich an verschiedensten Löchern hineinzwangen und die so eh schon mühsame Partie zusätzlich verkomplizierten.

Die Driving Range ist riesig und super. Hinter jedem Abschlag (vom Teppich) ist ein Spiegel. Der Shop ist ok, die Dame an der Rezeption auch recht freundlich.

Das Restaurant und das Clubhaus kann ich nicht beurteilen, da diese am Montag geschlossen sind.

Wenn es irgendwie gelingt, Le Rovedine alleine zu spielen, ein sehr empfehlenswerter Platz! Und mit 55,- Euro Greenfee auch noch sehr günstig.

Campo alla periferia sud di Milano, con disegno vario e divertente, soprattutto le seconde 9. Purtroppo i Green erano stati sabbiati poco tempo prima quindi erano velocissimi ma gibbosi. Per il resto manutenzione davvero curata. Piacevole nel complesso.

Lovely parkland golf course laid out among beautiful old trees. The course is completely flat but it has quite a few interesting and challenging holes. A lot of variety with plenty of dog-legs and technical shots so shot shaping will for sure help you hit lower scores.

I liked the following holes best: 4th is short but technical Par-4 with water protecting the left side of the fairway and front of the green. 6th is great mid-length Par-4 with well protected green with bunkers and water on the right side. 9th is a dogleg left Par-4 where a good drive over the water will leave you with a wedge to the slightly elevated and well protected green. 13th is a slight dogleg right Par-4 where you can cut the right edge of the fairway to get closer to the green. 15th is a nice dogleg left Par-5 which is reachable in two if you hit your drive on the spot. 16th is drivable Par-4 1if you are long and accurate - short, sweet and technical. 17th is a nice Par-3 - short but don't underestimate it as the trouble is all around it. 18th is a short Par-5 where a good drive will be rewarded as it can be reached in two with an iron, however the green is well protected.

The course was in decent condition but unfortunately quite a few fairways are affected by weed grass… this does not affect the game much but is for sure heartbreaking to see. Greens were okay but not very fast.

Well stocked pro-shop and nice bar by the pool.

Located in the southern part of Milan, close to the highway.

Worth playing if you are in the area….
