Quinta da Ria (Ria & Cima)

Great course, well maintained and a good challenge for all abilities. Downside. The bar seems to be closed during the summer season and there is no buggy bar!!

Quinta da Ria is vanaf het moment je op de baan komt mooi. Goede fairways, snelle greens dit samen met de geweldige ligging aan de kust maakt het het spelen waard.

Played both courses and although enjoyed both they share the same clubhouse and facilties so unless you are staying in the course hotel all the buggies were booked out by 10am. Walking 10 miles back to back when on holiday is not ideal. This then means you have groups walking inbetween groups in buggies causing 3 groups all on the same hole at some point. Groups in buggies were getting annoyed as they were following 8 players who had to walk. Be prepared for 5 hour rounds and it being packed. I would play again but it seems a little like a cattleshed and how much money they can make at any expense as they dont have the facilities for the amount of tee times they book out.

The views are excellent, the course is always presented in great condition, and the layout is fun from start to finish without feeling overly demanding. It has a very enjoyable flow to it and is the kind of place where you can have a really good round and simply enjoy being out there. A very solid course with plenty to like.

Wat een leuke ervaring zeg. Persoonlijk vind ik de Ria iets leuker, mooier en uitdagender dan de cima. Mooie fairways, leuke lay-outs, faire greens. Prijs kwaliteit top vergelijken met België. Zeker doen als je in de algarve bent.
