Ooo la la! This is the first feeling is when you arrive at Terre Blanche. Since we spent a week here I thought it would be an injustice to not talk about everything that Terre Blanche has to offer. I played both my bucket listed courses here and I can’t wait to share my experience.

La Chateau - For the ones who like to play a great golf course on a vacation this is a perfect match. From scenic fairways to lush bermuda greens and quaint French villages are a treat to one’s eyes. I believe that you play better when the course has so much beauty around everywhere. Holes 2,4,8,11,16,17 were my favourite and especially the tee box at 4 has majestic views of Callian and the chateau. The maintenance is top notch and the Bermuda greens are much fun to sharpen your short game. I think this is exactly how a resort course should be much more relaxed and fun to play.

Le Riou - I played the Let Access Pro-Am here. This course is made for members only who like to play a strategic and challenging course. In terms of beauty this doesn’t fall back either but what I liked more was the reward if you hit a good tee shot. Very challenging greens with stimp 12. The course is underrated since not many people get to play it but honestly this is a better course for single handicap golfers.

The Resort - Absolutely amazing hospitality and they took good care of us. From the wines, champagnes, food to the rooms and space they have are all top of the game. The outdoor pool and the spa are a must visit when you’re there. They have a Michelin star restaurant as well. Buggies pick-up and take you everywhere.

Driving range & Performance center - I haven’t seen a better driving range than theirs. Fitted with top tracer and over 40 bays you have a gorgeous range somewhere tucked in the valley. The golf performance center is one of the best with indoor putting lab and much more.

Terre Blanche is definitely one of the top 10 golf resorts in the world. I have no doubts there. I would come back again!
