Berliner Golf & Country Club Motzener See e.V.

Motzener See Golf Club is 45-50 mins driving distance from downtown Berlin. I had booked via phone and arrived timely. The German lady at the reception spoke little English but she was very helpful and friendly on everything. The club house has ample space for everything. Especially the locker room area is very big. However the interior decoration could be a bit warmer. They have a driving range plus putting and chipping greens. The ball machine at range works with code but it was not functioning when I tried. Another golfer (maybe a member?) provided me a bucket with his card. The course is 6050 metres from Mens amateur tees which I consider relatively long. It starts with 5-6 open ground holes then moves into the woods area. Then ends with with two open holes at the end. The fairways are in good condition but greens were really slow. The roughs are really rough with different types of grass, so you should stay on fairway.

I have been a member around 2000 and have been coming back every now and then. The place is wondeful and the golf course is absolutely gorgeous. The new 9 holes in the forest are a great addition to the lay-out of the existing 18-holes. The quality of the golf course is fantastic and some of the view are really nice, especially from the tee-box of the 9th hole of the Executive Course.

I have been some years a member of this club and had to leave due to reallocation. Always enjoyed the Club and the diverse Forest and Open Land setting.

Trotz der ansonsten (fast) überall herrschenden Dürre und entsprechender Zustände der Plätze in und rund um Berlin war dieser in einem gut zu spielenden Zustand.

toller Platz, leider wurden wir etwas "unfreundlich" empfangen. Hatten nur Zeit für 9 Loch. Die 9 Loch waren zwar etwas preisintensiv, allerdings hat es uns sehr viel Spaß gemacht.
