What a course, everything here just works and its a beautiful course. Played a 86 from handicap 12 and did not loose any balls, and made a 90 meter hole out, so could not be more happy!

As an avid golfer, visiting Golf Club Gut Lärchenhof was an experience I had been looking forward to for some time—and it didn’t disappoint. The course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, is simply one of the best I’ve played in Germany. Each hole feels like its own story, especially the par 3s and the 9th and 18th, which are visually stunning and strategically demanding. What really stood out to me was the overall condition of the course—immaculately maintained fairways, lightning-fast greens, and well-placed bunkers that really test your approach game. The practice facilities are top-tier, and the pro shop is one of the most stylish I’ve seen, stocked with high-end brands like J. Lindeberg and Hugo Boss. After my round, I had lunch in the clubhouse restaurant. The food was excellent, the wine list impressive, and the relaxed yet elegant atmosphere made it a perfect way to end the day. Furthermore, the welcome at the gate was amazingly warm. Reception was very friendly, offering to take us on a tour. Warming up with titleist balls on reserved guest slots was also well appreciated. All in all, Gut Lärchenhof offers a world-class golf experience that’s well worth the visit if you’re serious about your game.

This Jack Nicklaus Signature course is an absolute gem. The layout is intelligent and enjoyable, with wide fairways, well-positioned bunkers, and beautifully contoured greens. But what truly sets it apart is the condition of the course — more than perfect, Fairways, greens, and tee boxes are kept in pristine shape, without exception. Some high lights of the course Hole 2 – Par 4, dogleg right A strategic hole rewarding bold play, Classic Nicklaus: rewarding risk and precision. Hole 7 – Par 3 over water A picturesque one-shotter with a green guarded by both water and bunkers. It plays longer than it looks, especially in the wind. We lost 2 balls. Hole 13 – Long Par 5 A true three-shotter unless you bomb a drive and take on the risk. With narrowing landing zones and a green protected by deep bunkers, for this you need a clear plan. Hole 18 – Par 4 Finisher A fitting final challenge. A narrow landing area and an elevated green framed by the clubhouse make this a nerve-testing end to the round. Especially if you friends are watching :) As a guest, you’re genuinely pampered, the experience starts with a warm coffee on arrival, followed by access to a beautifully organized warm-up area — each guest has their own station. You hit from real turf, and impressively, the range balls are premium practice Titleist models, -reportedly the same type the pros use. A small detail, but a big statement. Gut Lärchenhof is very exclusive. Guest access is limited, there’s no public website, and the club app is members-only. While this makes the club feel somewhat reserved, it also enhances the private, elite atmosphere. If you do get the chance to play here, consider it a privilege. Besides the golf course also the architecture of the clubhouse has American influence, warm, bright and spacious. It is elegant and serene, with top-tier service to match the rest of the experience. The restaurant is high class where you wine and dine on a Michelin-level and with a service which elevates the post-round experience. Golf Club Gut Lärchenhof isn’t just a golf course it’s a fully curated experience. If you get the opportunity to play here — take it. You’ll remember it long after your final putt drops !

Gut Lärchenhof wil zich meten met de top van Europa, en dat is echt te merken. Alles ademt keuzes voor de hoogste kwaliteit in een member club omgeving, van ontvangst, tot faciliteiten, het restaurant op Michelin ster niveau, en niet te vergeten de omgeving en de baan zelf. Voor de mensen die op Bernardus hebben mogen spelen - ik zelf nog niet - deze baan vindt zichzelf minstens vergelijkbaar en wellicht nog wel beter door het besloten en rustige karakter. De baan zelf is eigenlijk niet eens zo heel moeilijk voor de goede golfer met veel brede fairways en water dat maar weinig echt in de weg zit, waardoor de 18 holes ook lopend binnen 4 uur te spelen zijn. Het clubhuis laat zien dat men oog voor detail heeft en alleen met het beste genoegen neemt. Ook het restaurant is van hoog niveau; hier kom je ook graag eten als je

Playing Golf Club Gut Lärchenhof was really an unforgettable experience. When you arrive at the club you can already feel the atmosphere of professionalism and hospitality. Everything is designed to give you the best ever golf experience. Because we are not a member of the club we had to play early in the morning. But the reception was very friendly with coffee and some background information, we received a unique little golden bear to attach to our golfbags and the piramides of balls were waiting for us on the driving range. To start early gave us an extra opportunity to enjoy the quietness around the course. The course is designed by Jack Nicklaus in 1997 and since then it hosted several prestigious tournaments. It is challenging because of the fast greens and the strategic bunkers, but not extremely difficult because of the wide fairways. The overall condition of the course was great and makes it one of the best courses I played in Germany. The beautiful clubhouse with a Michelin-starred restaurant and the impressive locker rooms made the top experience complete. If you ever get the opportunity to play at Golf Club Gut Lärchenhof you should really go for it!
