Golf & Country Club Velderhof

Nice golf club with good facilities and friendly welcome. Golf course was in good condition all around and facilities are of good quality. The golf course has a routing that requires a few walks between holes, but it's a flat property, so not tiring to walk at all. Nice views of the surrounding land. One thing to note...if you are hitting your ball left or right off the normal cut of rough, you will likely lose many balls. The high fescue rough is very thick, and nearly impossible to find balls hit into any parts of it that are not pushed down by other golfers walking into it. So, don't dare play this course without plenty of golf balls ! Excellent terrace and food after you finish, with a nice view of the course.

Vriendelijk ontvangst, goede oefenfaciliteiten met perfecte ballen. Prijs van greenfee in weekend aan stevige kant. Rood-groen gespeeld. Rood speelt wat zwaarder ivm de leemgrond. Layout is goed, klein beetje heen en weer gevoel. Groen is droger en beter mbt layout, laat zich fijner spelen. Holes zijn niet erg lang maar vandaag met windkracht 3 speelt een par 4 van 393 toch erg lang. Onderhoud is super goed en greens zijn erg fijn, geonduleerd maar eerlijk. Eten na afloop is heerlijk.

The course hosts many tournaments, as the premises are really well maintained and has good facilities for larger groups. 3x9 holes allows other players nearly all day long to play when there is a tournament. Flat fairways and not too many bunkers which triggers you to place a bomberdrive from the tee. But the risk of losing your tee shot in the roughs is high, whilst most holes don’t require such long tee shot. Most greens can be reached in regulation with a shorter and controlled teeshot. Putting is a ‘game in the game’ and it applies here for sure. Greens like checkerboards often end up with a 3 putt…. Speed of play is good, the hole layout signs don’t show meters of points on the hole so really focus on course management from the start.

Prachtig gelegen golfcomplex met zeer goede faciliteiten. Driving range is prima. Fairways zijn redelijk vlak, greens hebben de nodige ondulaties wat putten tot een uitdaging maakt. Alle holes zijn duidelijk aangegeven. Vriendelijke receptie en zeker de moeite waard om hier te spelen. Met Golfamore is het bovendien 2 voor de prijs van 1. Gebruik de navigatie gegevens die hier worden genoemd anders kom je er niet.

Im Rahmen unsere Monatsrunde zu Gast gewesen. Sehr weitläufige Platz, aber gut gepflegt, Bahnen mit einigen Assen im Ärmel, schauen leichter aus als sie sind. Beschilderung auf der Bahn könnte etwas besser sein. Gastro war ein Traum, super Service, viel Humor wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
