Sutton Golf Club is a natural Links golf course situated on the sandy peninsula of Sutton on Dublin's East coast, where golf has been enjoyed since 1890. This superb 9 hole links course is located only 11km from Dublin city centre. The golfer will enjoy panoramic views of the Irish Sea as well a challenging round of golf. The 9 holes we have is a nice test of Links Golf with many hidden and subtle dangers, requiring skill and patience to overcome. Sutton Golf Club was home to the legendary Dr. JB (Joe) Carr, 3 time Amateur Champion, 11 time Walker Cup player and World Golf Hall of Fame inductee in 2008. His extraordinary achievements are remembered in the JB Carr room, a visit to which is a must for any enthusiast of the game. Sutton9 Loch am Meer, die ersten und letzten Löcher könnte man als links bezeichnen, die mittleren Löcher nach Überquerung der Bahnlinie (Tore mit Codeschlss) sind Parkland,1. und 2. Bahn entlang bzw. über die Zufahrtstraße, am 1. Abschlag soll man nur abschlagen, wenn die Straße und der zweite Abschlag frei sind, nicht mein Ding. Clubhouse schöner Blick, aber große Bereiche nur für Mitglieder, wir durften als Gäste nur an den "Katzentisch".

Fairway are narrow and greens are well protected.
Greens are good but not at Royal Dublin or others big names.
Fun experience with a huge hospitality and beautiful view on 2 holes.
No range area.

SuttonWat een diversiteit in holes. Kriskras door elkaar heen waarvan er 5 op een landtong met rondom de zee. Zeer gevarieerd en goed onderhouden. Zeker de moeite waard om deze te spelen.

Suttona 9 HOLE GEM. Made famous by its many top class golfers including one particular family headed by the infamous J.B. Carr.
A mixture of parkland 3 holes and 6 links each hole an individual gem.
A friendlier welcome is hard found.
well worth a visit.

SuttonJoli links de 9 trous joué par temps venteux. Cela donne une idée du jeu a produire dans de telles conditions. Difficile et technique. Sinon le parcours est joli avec 3 trous un peu isolé. Par manque de place certains trous en croisent d'autres. Dommage que même s'il n'y a personne on ne puisse jouer tout simplement parce que comme tous les golfs de Dublin priorité soit donné aux Dublinois (compréhensible mais avec du monde sur le terrain).
