Cabot Saint Lucia - Point Hardy Golf Club

Returning to Cabot Saint Lucia (Point Hardy) for the second time, I can confirm: the magic hasn’t faded one bit. I arrived in the Port of Castries by cruise ship, and although the drive to the northern tip takes a moment even the distance isnt that far, the payoff is unlike anything else in the world of golf. The First Impression: Even though the permanent clubhouse is still not there, it simply doesn't matter. The moment you enter the gate and get that first glimpse of the Ocean crashing against the rugged cliffs, you get those same goosebumps all over again. The raw beauty of this site is overwhelming. Course Conditions & New Features: The course was in perfect condition—immaculate fairways and greens that feel like they belong in a painting. Interestingly, they have evolved the layout: they now offer two different 10th holes. You can choose your adventure, which adds a cool, unique layer to the strategy of the back nine. BTW only because there were some bad reviews that the first one was to steep. The "Comfort Stations" – A New Level of Luxury: Cabot has redefined the "halfway house." The comfort stations are now even better than on my last visit. Each one features its own private Chef! I enjoyed amazing, high-end food with world-class views while taking a break. It’s not just a snack; it’s a culinary experience in the middle of a round. The Signature Finish: Playing along the cliffs, especially the closing stretch where you have to carry the ball over the ocean multiple times, is exhilarating. It remains the ultimate bucket list course. But i think its always very windy there, choose your clubs wisley, and bring enough golf balls. If you have the chance to get a tee time—play it! There is nothing else like it on the planet.

Vom Kreuzfahrthafen sind es nur um die 15km hierfür benötigt man allerdings um die 45 Minuten.

Angekommen gibt es aktuell noch kein Clubhaus, nichtsdestotrotz wird man sehr freundlich empfangen und direkt zur Driving Range begleitet wo sich auch der provisorische Shop befindet.

Auf der Range natürlich nur Premium Golfbälle sowie Tees und Alignment Sticks. Direkt fast nebenan ist das Puttinggrün und dann auch der erste Abschlag.

Das erste Loch beginnt entspannt bevor man dann direkt am zweiten Loch von weiter oben tolle Aussichten hat. Nach den ersten paar Löchern sollte man gut aufgewärmt sein, dann kommt die erste Comfort Station. Mit dem Greenfee sind alle Getränke und Essen inkludiert.

Beim Approach an Loch 6 kommt dann wieder die tolle Aussicht dazu, Loch 7 ein Par 3 mit Ozean Links und rechts und dann die 8 ein kurzes Par 4 über den Ozean - Wahnsinn.

Auf den zweiten Neun geht es weiter bis dann Loch 15 nach dem Abschlag auch wieder der Ausblick ins Spiel kommt um die Signature Drei 16-17-18 zu spielen. Natürlich auch auf den zweiten Neun noch eine weitere Comfort Station.

Zum Pflegezustand, die Anzahl der Spieler ist begrenzt was von Vorteil ist. Der Zustand ist fantastisch und ich habe viele Plätze in der Karibik gespielt und dieser ist definitiv einer der besten!

Auch hier spielt man mit Caddie, welcher einen hervorragenden Job erledigt hat!

Ergänzen möchte ich noch, wir hatten einen sehr windigen Tag zum Teil wurden bis zu 3 Schläger mehr benötigt.

Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen diesen Platz zu spielen, es lohnt sich und man wird die Runde nicht vergessen.
