TPC Cartagena

The Mulligan Tour brought 20 golfers from Onatrio Canada for a 4 round event and we all loved the layout and the greens were just great! Good value for the Money and Cartegena, Colombia was an awesome experience by all. We have been playing throughout the Caribbean for the past 15 years and this was a pleasant change!

Through a review website i came across a telephone number of the caddiemaster/pro at this golfcourse. Via whatsapp i was able to book an afternoon tee time, renting clubs and a buggy. In total this is a little pricey, but to play such a nice maintained course, what do you expect..

When i arrived by taxi from another resort nearby i paid at the proshop, while the venue looks supernice, modern, but a little empty.

I got my buggy (with a coolbox, thank god, and a digital course guide) and clubs (cobra s3, but too bad I got a reg-flex driver), and started the round

The temperature was quiet high, about 35-38 celsius, so a buggy was needed for shades and wind. The service cart with cold drinks comes by often, so that was needed, because you need a lot of water during the round.

The course looks really astonishing, especially the holes that are playing along the sea. At the far point of the course there is a guard overseeing the course. Gives you a feel of safety.

The fairways are pretty, teeboxes really great and the green of top quality, and that with the sea nearby and heat scorching. Compliments to keep the course in shape.

I liked the experience, but maybe the totalprice i paid €211 euro is too much (greenfee, buggy, clubs rental,8 balls).

De 18 holes ontworpen door Jack Nicklaus zijn stuk voor stuk plaatjes en bieden uitdaging genoeg. De backnine langs de Caribische Zee is geweldig. De pro shop is zeer matig en je kunt nergens cash betalen. Alles moet met de creditcard. Als je geen gast in het ressort bent kun je wel na reservering spelen, maar je kunt geen gebruik maken van de faciliteiten van het ressort. Vanaf de vesting van Cartagena is het 20 minuten met de taxi.

toller Platz mit einigen Löchern direkt am Meer gelegen, natürlich hat man auch hier die karibischen Temperaturen. Diesen Platz spielt man mit dem Car, die Anlage liegt etwas abgelegen, natürlich immer die Frage woher man kommt. Sollte man in der Gegend sein und eine Runde Golf spielen wollen, dann ist man hier auf jeden Fall richtig. Nach der Runde ist man im Clubhaus auch gut versorgt.

De baan is een plaatje, best moeilijk. De laatste 9 holes worden gekenmerkt door heel veel water.

De baan is enkel te reserveren als je lid bent of als je logeert in het hotel dat naast de golfbaan ligt. Een super hotel trouwens. Alleen jammer dat je overal ver vandaan zit.
