Campo Municipal Las Caldas

Un campo municipal muy buen. Está en un entorno precioso y es todo un reto de jugar. Hay muchas cuestas pero es 100% recomendable.

A very difficult undulating course in a scenic location almost at the foot of the Picos. We were playing off a SR of 142 which shows how difficult it is. It is a Municipal course so is very good value at €70 for 2 over the weekend. The course is well maintained but the greens are not Augusta standard with moss etc in them however they do run true if a little slow. Generally there is not a flat lie anywhere on the fairways you are always on a slope. There are some steep inclines and ravines to lose balls down. Well worth taking a buggy if you are not in to hill walking. Some of the holes have narrow fairways where you have to be very straight like 13. Hole 15 is a high elevated tee over a long hole but you have to get the luck of the bounce on the way down. Hole 3 is a long slog up a steep incline where straight is good. A course worth playing twice so you can learn it or at least get paired with a local who can show you the way. The clubhouse is very friendly and you do need to book a table in the restaurant at the weekend for some very fine local Asturias food at a fantastic price. Definitely will be going to this one again.

Jugué aprovechando un torneo y el greenfee fueron 25,50€.

El campo se encuentra junto a la ciudad de Oviedo, en un valle montañoso que hace que las vistas sean muy bonitas.

El campo tiene un parking amplio, canchas de prácticas y zona de putter.

La casa club tiene tienda y un restaurante amplio con terraza que tiene vistas al campo. Recomendable para tomar una cerveza después de jugar y la opinión general es que se come muy bien.

En cuanto al campo, es muy duro físicamente, por la orografía de la zona, hay que subir colinas o bajarlas en muchos de los hoyos lo que hace que el carro eléctrico sea indispensable y buggy recomendable.

Se trata de un campo divertido, que aunque sea corto en distancia hace que la estrategia sea muy importante, exigente en los tiros de salida y que además los greenes sean muy movidos y en alguno de los casos si estás en la plataforma de arriba sean imposibles.

El mantenimiento es muy bueno y más teniendo en cuenta los desniveles del terreno.

La gente es muy amable y un campo que tiene buen precio.

Muy recomendable, duro físicamente pero divertido y exigente.

This is a gorgeous little course nestled below some stunning mountains. Great views from every hole. Its a real pleasure to play.

Staff in the clubhouse and restaurant were all great.

The course itself is not long but quite tricky.

We played in August and it was in good condition.

Campo con una configuración extraña, con mucha cuesta por lo que es preferible carro eléctrico o buggy. Algún hoyo parece metido a calzador y despista por donde ir.

No obstante es un campo cuidado y en un entorno espectacular.
