It is a challenging course that requires precise ball control to avoid trouble due to the surrounding vegetation. It features two lakes that add difficulty to several holes, and its clubhouse stands out—hole 9 is played from there, offering views of the Sierra de Guadarrama on clear days thanks to its elevation. In addition, it boasts a golf spectacular driving range practice and a strong academy for young players. A truly enjoyable and challenging course.

I recently had the opportunity to play at Club de Campo La Galera, and it turned out to be a very interesting 9-hole course. Despite not being a full 18-hole layout, it offers a real challenge. It’s a course that requires you to truly understand the game—positioning, strategy, and shot selection are key if you want to score well. The greens were in perfect condition and are undoubtedly one of the highlights of the course. Their speed makes them especially demanding, adding an extra layer of difficulty that you don’t always find in similar clubs. La Galera is a private club with a wide range of sports facilities and a solid standard of maintenance throughout. There’s also a restaurant with a good offering, which you can enjoy if you come to play golf. Access is restricted to members, their guests, or players with reciprocal agreements. In our case, we were able to play using the Golf Amore card, which made the visit possible. Overall, it’s a course with personality—technical, well-maintained, and definitely worth playing if you have the chance.

Campo de 9 hoyos cerca de Valladolid ciudad. A pesar de tener solo 9 hoyos, alguno hoyo resulta interesante. Tiene doble salida aunque en la mayoría no difiere mucho. Las calles estaban algo regular pero, posiblemente, debido al calor del verano. Los greens, aunque algo lentos, rodaba bien la bola. Campo divertido y que se puede jugar varias veces.
