Wermdö Golf & Country Club

The authentic “hidden gem” concept as their marketing is not as strong as their neighbor courses around the stunning capital of this beautiful and special country.

The surroundings could not look better; amazing views to the Swedish Archipelago; specially on the last green. Their signature hole is also quite special. The holes that do not have views to the ocean, still have a beautiful layout.

Deep forrests as if we were in Narnia. Cute fun layout since not every hole looks the same.

You all already know I love those courses whose par 4s do not always require driver off the tee, but instead a proper strategy: iron? Hibrid? Risk / reward going all in? The course does invite to have some adrenaline!

The half way house has the best kanelbullar I have ever tasted and! The club sandwich is the second best club sandwich on a golf course (the best one on earth is the one at RCG Pedreña; north of Spain!).

Got to experience it with the great player; Rebecka Surtevall, professional player and great friends of mine who is a member at the course.

Such a homie course. The environment at the club is great and cozy. They count with very nice practice facilities as well for short game. It is a pitty that the range does not allow to hit from grass, but it is still decent since the net is 230 meters away.

They have a stunning pool! And the restaurant is great. There are some rooms upstairs that would be amazing if they opened them up to welcome visitors.

There are some horses around the course and that is unbeatable.

The bunkers could have slightly more sand, but the sunsets in the Summer make up for it!

Already my favourite course in Stockholm so far! I got to visit it after the First Scandinavian Mixed down in Götenburg. I am glad I took the train to my favourite city!

Väldigt trevlig och kuperad bana med bland de bästa greenerna jag har sett i Stockholmsområdet. Fairways var torra, liksom hela regionen efter värmeböljan (Skriven 180601) men med lite regn kan de vara kanon också. Väldigt vänligt bemötande av både personal och spelare och läcker terrass att intaga en dryck efter rundan med vy över bryggan och vatten.
