Des critiques fantastiques, mais inconnus du grand public. Soyez le premier à découvrir ces joyaux cachés en Afrique du Sud.
The course was in very good condition, although hole 7 was undergoing repairs. Quite fast and fair greens and great fairway. Varying hole layouts which was much appreciated. Friendly and polite staff in all matters.
Great conditions on the greens which also are undulated and mid size which make it challenging. Many holes also have a lot of bunkers that force you to plan your game to be successful. Very service minded staff.

I played there yesterday with 8 friends and paid the highest price for golf ever - I am a regular player in Western Cape for 20 years. I expected the best, but was disappointed and will not return or recommend. The carts had no GPS/screen, no hole lay-out on T-box, no distance markers on sprayers, coloured posts for 50/100/200 only one side of fairway and no stroke saver booklets (like I got when they opened). If you enjoy walking in a manicured garden - go to Simola, but not for top class golf course!
Belleville GC is also located not far from the Durbanville Gc but a totally different course. Is is far more undulated and the course need far more thinking which club to use during your round. The driver is most of the time not the club to select. Also at this course friendly staff and a chat to the members will be helpful to get some information how to play the course. Maintenance is fine sometimes a bit dry due to lack of rain, but well playable. An interesting course to be played more as one time. Nice terrace and also views on the mountains gives you a nice golf day.
Durbanville GC close to the Capetown airport in the Belleville suburb is a nice course to start your african your golf experience. The course is easy to walk with a trolley there are some water hazards but in general wide fairways and low rough. Reception is friendly and helpful and there are practice facilities to flex your body. maintenance of greens and fairways are fine. Further nice views on the Paarl mountains. Good service after your round for a drink or food. Enjoy.
The Rondebosch GC played again after some time and the course still in good condition. Of course it is a bit noisy but that you know before deciding to play. Maintenance of the course is good and practice facilities are limited. The course itself good to walk some undulation but also that makes it interesting. Green of hole 2,3 and 4 on the other side of the canal so be careful. The other holes some a bit straight forward but overall a fine round just before leaving as it is close to the airport.
It has been some time ago that we played he Milnerton course. A nice links course adjacent to the Atlantic ocean. Also with nice views on the Table Mountains. Practice facilities available and check the greens on the speed. The nearly 5800 m from the yellow tees is a demanding course especial when the wind blow from the south west. Therefore the 1st 9 is mostly wind in the back but take care of the 2nd 9 playing into the wind and with the many water obstacles not easy. But enjoy a nice round of golf and if lost some balls you always have the clubhouse with friendly staff to serve you a drink and the views n the surrounding ensures you are coming back.
Another nice course close to the cape Town city is Westlake GC. The course is easy to play because it is flat but the mountain views around the course are very nice. Again fine practice facilities. The par 72 of around 5860 m is despite that is is flat very interesting to play, hole 6,8,11 and 18 water is in play around the greens. But a special enemy is the wind with circles around the old silver mines. Maintenance is good and the greens are all the same speed and well maintained. Nice clubhouse and terrace to finish your round with good feeling.
