PGA Ocean's 4 - La Romana

Ho giocato due volte in agosto 2025. Percorso tecnico ma non troppo difficile, scenografico sopratutto nelle 4 buche sull’oceano (7 e 8, e poi 16 e 17). Davvero belle!! Campo in buone condizioni ma tenuto meno bene rispetto a Casa decampo, Punta Espada e Corales e CapCana. Ottima struttura, tutta nuova. Bella club house, con buon ristorante. Il problema è che hanno iniziato a costruire decine e decine di ville intorno alle buche da golf, per cui lo spettacolo dei lavori in corso a fianco delle buche non è dei migliori… Il Green fee è il meno costoso di tutti (95 $ dalle 2 pm), e non è obbligatorio il caddy. Campo ideale per chi vuole giocare sull’oceano a Santo Domingo, e divertirsi senza spendere una fortuna!!!

Même si le fee n’est pas donné, le parcours, abordable à tout niveau et tres agréable de par son architecture, vaut réellement la peine d’être joué. Le 18 trous du Bahia Principe Golf est l’un des plus beaux que j’ai eu l’occasion de sillonner jusqu’à ce jour.

L’état des fairways comme celui des greens est irréprochable et l’accueil au club house fut des plus sympathiques.

De huidige naam is Ocean's4, gelegen op het Bahia Principe Resort. Een soort mini Teeth-of-the-Dog. En betaalbaar.

Grandiose golfbaan met 4 prachtige holes direct gelegen aan zee, waarvan sommige met een dubbele fairway. Erg verrassend om te spelen zeker met een beukende zee tegen de rotsen...

Maar ook de inland holes zijn mooi gesitueerd en veelal geonduleerd vormgegeven en doen soms links aan...

De ontvangst in het clubhuis is zeer hartelijk. En dit in combinatie met hun gevarieerde menukaart.

Echt de moeite waard!

Oefenfaciliteiten zijn ook oké.
