De Golf du Pic Saint-Loup ligt op een steenworp afstand van Montpellier in het departement Hérault en verwelkomt u in een uitzonderlijke natuurlijke omgeving. Met uitzicht op de Pic Saint-Loup en de Middellandse Zee biedt ons golfcomplex een unieke ervaring die sport, ontspanning en gezelligheid in Occitanië combineert. De geschiedenis van de Golf du Pic Saint-Loup begint in 1980 met de aanleg van de 18-holes golfbaan van Coulondres, ontworpen door de beroemde architect Donald Harradine. Deze historische baan, bekend om zijn uitzicht op de Pic Saint-Loup en de zee, is de essentie van onze golfclub, die lange tijd bekend stond onder de naam “Golf de Coulondres”. In 2012 ontwierp architect Robert Berthet 9 nieuwe holes die, in combinatie met de 9 holes van Coulondres, de 18-holes golfbaan Puech vormden, waarmee een van de mooiste golfcomplexen in de regio Montpellier ontstond. Deze nieuwe golfbaan biedt gevarieerde spelcombinaties met unieke vergezichten over het landschap van de Languedoc.

PuechUnfortunately club house was closed on a Wednesday so little/no breakfast option. Pro shop staff were very friendly & tried their best to help. Rental clubs should have been returned to the charity shop - they were bordering on dangerous. Buggy was good & course had some spectacular views & beautiful holes. The back 9 was very narrow & only the straightest of hitters will fine the fairways. Great greens & practice areas / range. Recommend if you are in the area but have breakfast before on a Wednesday 😁

PuechAux vues des conditions météo du jour nous n'avons joué que l'aller, "le plateau" du parcours Puech. Installation d'accueil sommaire mais complète et structure d'entraînement de qualité avec de supers vues ! 2 choses m'ont particulièrement marqué : - la difficulté du parcours lorsqu'on ne le connaît pas avec beaucoup de coups en aveugle ou au jugé. Clairement le driver peut rester dans le sac quasi tous les trous. - la qualité des greens ! Une vitesse parfaite mais surtout un entretien de très haut niveau ! Par contre à faire à pied il faut bien manger avant et encore, quand on imagine le retour, la boisson après le 18 se mérite ! À tester une prochaine fois.

18 holes- One part on a plateau, more exposed, with a 360° view over the region. - A sheltered section on a narrower hillside. The first 9 holes were renovated in 2012 by architect Robert Berthet, and have already won over club members – why not you? The next 9 holes have just opened, brand new, on a plateau overlooking the whole region. A breath of fresh air!
