**Review: Puyenbroeck Golf** Puyenbroeck Golf is currently undergoing a big transition, and you can clearly feel that the domain is being prepared for a new chapter. The clubhouse has been moved, and the driving range is now located in a completely new area. Together with the new driving range, extra practice facilities have been added, making the warm-up and training experience much more complete than before. A nice upgrade is that some bays on the driving range are equipped with TrackMan. This gives players useful feedback and adds a modern touch to the practice facilities. It is always a plus when a club invests not only in the course itself, but also in the full golf experience around it. The routing has also changed slightly. The first hole is now the former hole 8, after which the course continues with the familiar routing. For players who knew the old setup, this takes a little adjustment, but after the opening hole the round quickly feels familiar again. One noticeable change on the course is that the yellow tee boxes are now fitted with artificial grass or mats. This has both pros and cons. On the positive side, it provides a consistent and clean teeing surface, especially useful during wet periods or heavy use. It also helps protect the course while the domain is in transition. On the other hand, some golfers will naturally miss the feel of playing from real grass, as mats can feel a bit less authentic. Overall, Puyenbroeck Golf is clearly investing in the future. During this transition period, there are some changes to get used to, but the new location of the driving range, the additional practice facilities and the TrackMan bays are promising improvements. It is a course and domain in evolution, and it will be interesting to see how everything comes together once the works are fully completed.

Golf Puyenbroeck offers a pleasantly mature 9-hole course that feels well-established and thoughtfully laid out. Despite being a shorter track, the course is fully grown-in, with mature trees and well-defined fairways that provide a quality playing experience. The course was in good shape during our round, with well-maintained greens and fairways, offering a fair challenge for both beginners and experienced golfers. It's a great spot for a quick round or a relaxed day out, and the natural setting adds to the charm. Overall, Golf Puyenbroeck is a solid choice if you're looking for a well-kept 9-hole course in a peaceful environment.

(+) Brede driving range - gedeeltelijk overdekt,3 permissie Holes voor kort golfspel op wandelafstand, chipping - putting range, de wandelpaden tussen de holes geven de golfbaan wat meer cachet, prachtige natuurlijke omgeving ingebed in een groot domein, nieuwe uitdagende reeds uitgegraven waterpartijen,

(+/-) Parkeerplaats wordt stilaan te klein, bunker range kan wat onderhoud gebruiken, de aan de gang zijnde werken (nieuwe compact course, nieuwe driving range) tusen Hole 6-Hole 7 belemmeren de natuurlijke omgeving.

PARKING: Één grote geasfalteerde parking (zestigtal wagens). ONTVANGST: Een vriendelijke ontvangst. OEFENGELEGENHEDEN: Groot in lengte en genoeg afslagplaatsen op de driving range , grote puttinggreen. TEEBOXBORDEN: Kleine bordjes met baannummer ,par,en afstanden. TEEBOX: Er waren er enkele die wel wat averij hadden. FAIRWAYS: Zeer goed onderhouden fairways. BUNKERS: De bunkers werden goed onderhouden. ROUGH: Op weinige plaatsen kolossaal hoog (bijna onmogelijk om balletje te vinden). GREENS: Zeer goed onderhouden. OMGEVING: Parkbaan (Polderban) net naast een camping. EXTRA: Ligt in één vrije tijds domein en hier en daar zou een pijltje meer mogen staan naar volgende hole.

(+) Parkeergelegenheid, driving range gedeeltelijk overdekt, putting en chippingrange in goede staat, baan ligt er prima bij voor de tijd van het jaar en is goed bespeelbaar

(+/-) Bunkerrange verdient wat meer aandacht, net zoals de bunkers op de baan

(-) Tee's hebben een groot onderhoud nodig.
