Houghton Golf Club

This is a very nice venue with nice sceneries especially from the balconies. it is situated in one of Gauteng's elite suburbs. The course have very tricky greens protected by well placed bunkers. Green fees is very affordable and the food is excellent. A must play for any golfer from beginner to pro. I rate is as the best in Gauteng.

De baan zelf is heel mooi, goed ondehouden met mooie hoogteverschillen maar toch prima te lopen.

Kleine minountjes waren de vele hoge appartementen naast sommige holes en wat ik ook vervelend vond is dat je bijna vanaf elke green een flink stuk weer terug moet lopen naar de teebox, in veel gevallen zelfs naar de rode teebox. Maar voor de rest een plezier om te spelen!

Topbaan!

Playing from the white tee is still a tough challenge on this beautiful and difficult course. All facilities are in good shape and it will make sure you should be focused for the entire 18 holes. Greens are protected by bunkers and also some fairway bunkers within reach. There are a number of dams, lakes and water hazards around. Hole 12 is the most difficult and green has 75% water around. It is a pleasure to play and if the change fully recommended.

Played this course in 2018, was very pleasantly surprisd about the layout. Beautiful scenery and great golfing holes. Very well maintained. Driving range was not the best, but they are quickly forgiven once you have teed of here for a round.
