Wild Coast Sun Country Club

I hadn't played Wild Coast for numerous years, and it was as good as I remember it being. Very dramatic tee shots, particularly on the back 9, which is probably the more memorable 9.

Some holes on the front 9 are a bit mundane and boring but they serve as a link between the better holes. The greens have some pretty severe contours on them and made some putts impossible to stop within 3 meters of the hole if your approach shot was on the wrong section of the green.

I played in winter, so the course was very dry, which created some very firm bounces, and the greens too were slick and fast. There seemed to be a disease which had attacked some greens which left them in a not so great condition.

The downside was that the halfway house is very lackluster. The round also took 6 hours to complete due to slow play ahead and no marshals on site.

All in all, it really is a great track and I always love playing it.

Superbe parcours parfaitement intégré à son environnement et pas le contraire comme trop souvent dans les golfs d'"estate".

Certains fairways longs et larges mais aussi beaucoup de trous (très) délicats qui laisseront des souvenirs!

Porte close du pro shop a 14h30, nous nous fournirons ailleurs.

Parcours de championnat qui est exceptionnel tant par la qualité que par le tracé. Plusieurs trous avec des vues superbes et un gros challenge golfique. Voiturette obligatoire + green fee 32€. Club house de qualité, très bon accueil au proshop. Un des meilleurs du KZN.

Sehr schöner Golfplatz mit zwei unterschiedlichen 9er Runden.

Sehr schöne Anlage, freundliche Leute, (Angestellte und Spieler), alles vorhanden was man braucht, sollte man spielen wenn man in der Gegend ist.
