Bangalore Golf Club

The Bangalore Golf Club is the oldest golf club in its current location in India. Routed on just 43 acres (a good portion of the golf course was taken a few year ago for urbanisation) the golf course is as much an adventure as it is a test of golf. Many of the holes had to be rerouted to cater for the reduction in space and some rather ingenious solutions were adopted to fit 18 holes in the space. This includes the "unique" 4th hole where golfers are required to tee off over the parking area to a fairway beyond. This is one of many tricks in place that makes this golf course so much fun to play and so memorable in every way. Whilst the Bangalore Golf Club might not be an architectural gem it's an adventure from start to finish. The condition of the golf course might not be to everyone's standard but this should be glossed over considering you wont forget the holes and the shots you will be required to play.
