PGC is pretty affluent and so are its members. A busy club with a good infrastructure. The caddies informative and well worth their fee. Hole 10 is the signature hole, quite a challenge if you start there like we did. The East course was diverse and a pleasure to play, but, the greens were fast, sorry very fast. Good thing that the caddies knew how to read them for us.

The Penang GC located in Seberang Perai Utara in the north part of the state of Penang. The 36 holes course divided in the East and West. We played the East course and if playing from the blue tees you really need all your attention and listen to the caddy. Because after a couple of holes he knew your capabilities and advised no driver when all kind of hazards were in the way. Play bogey golf he said and try to have 2 putts on the large fast greens and you have a good round The fairways were tree-lined so also therefore try stay out of the bush. It help to practice the fast greens before teeing off. Also here a very large clubhouse and when not playing on the days of competition it can be quite.
