Die Anlage ist rundum ein Genuss! Die ersten 9 ein wirkliches Highlight! Der Pay and Play Platz ist sicherlich einer der besten seiner Zunft! Sehr freundliches Personal und faire Preise im ProShop.

Een golfbaan met 2 gezichten, maar ook, zeker gezien de prijs, een aanrader om te spelen.

De eerste 9 holes liggen in een dennenbos, met mooie doorkijkjes op de baai. Ziet er erg goed uit en als (zeker) de teeboxen meer aandacht krijgen en sommige greens ook dan kan die lus wedijveren met de beste banen. Maar ja dan zal ook de prijs omhoog gaan.

De tweede 9 liggen in een open gebied. Moeilijker in te schatten op sommige holes wat de lijnen zijn omdat er nu veel slootjes in het spel komen. Hier zijn de greens (en teeboxen) beter.

Net als overal in Denemarken geen courseplanners (maar app), maar op de teebox staat een duidelijk voorstelling van de hole.

Verder is er een drivingrange met uitzicht op de baai van Ho. Kun je aan je korte spel werken en is er een ruime puttinggreen. Alles redelijk basic (behalve puttinggreen) maar voldoet zeker.

Toller Platz mit einem einzigartigen Charakter. Absolute Empfehlung.

So, I’m on holidays with the family & have a few hours to kill, as the kids are playing in the playground. I find out there’s this golf course around the corner. So, I go and have a look. There’s a machine, where you elect to play what course, if you need to rent a bag & clubs, and if you need balls & tees. And off you go…

It was STUNNING!

I played the back nine, through the pine forest, with a little undulation & the last three holes quite linksy along the Ho bay. So beautiful, quite hard with gusty wind, but with loads of sunshine.

The tees & fairways where amazing, bunkers were filled with fine white sand & beautifully raked. The greens were a little bumpy, but quite quick and good easy to read.

The rental clubs were, mweh… Cheap hybrid 25•, game improvement 5,7,9, P&S + and an old Anser style cheap putter. But hey, you can’t complain, I mean, I rocked up on my trainers & with a hoodie, just wanting to check out the place.

I hit quite a few decent shots, made a few putts & even after stuffing up 2 holes I managed to walk off with 6 over par for nine holes. All in under 2 hrs, I was even on time to put the kids to bed. Not too shabby on a Tuesday evening.

Anyway, I can thoroughly recommend playing a few holes here. They have a driving range, short par-3 course (they also rent out kids’ clubs I spotted), short par-4 course, nine holes reclaimed farmland links course & nine hole forest/links course (both par 35, making par 70 if you combine them).

Most fun I had in Denmark so far (Sssht… don’t tell the missus & the kids: we went to LEGOLAND, Lego House & the Viking Market in Ribe).

Mooi gelegen golfbaan met prachtige vergezichten. Gevarieerde holes. Greens weinig spannend maar goed onderhouden Mooi clubhuis.
