Golf Club Villa Carolina

Bel campo e bel circolo sulle colline tra Ovada e Novi Ligure. Ho provato in gara il percorso La Marchesa e l'ho trovato abbastanza difficile e lungo. Buche del campo più difficili 4 par 4 da circa 400 metri. Fairways ampi ma campo da conoscere per fare score.

Nous avons joué sur le Marchesa , quelle déception… Les 9 premiers trous étaient en dessous de tout : Les tees de départs avec de la mauvaise herbes , les fairways pelés on a pratiquement joué sur de la terre tout le temps, les roughts avaient aussi de la mauvaise herbes (presque injouable ) et les greens, certains avaient de la mousse et d’autres avaient été attaqués pas les corbeaux donc il y avait de gros trous … Heureusement le retour est mieux, fairways mieux ainsi que les roughts et greens . C’est dommage car l’environnement est assez sympa (sauf les 3 derniers trous où on longe la route avec les maisons) ainsi que le dessin du parcours mais ce gros manque d’entretien sur les 9 premiers trous ne donne pas envie de refaire ce parcours. J’espère que le Paradiso est mieux…

Mooie en afwisselende baan. We hebben de baan 3 x gelopen. De eerste 2 keren was het gras te lang naar vandaag was het gemaaid. Heel gastvrije caddymaster. Buggy is gezien de afstanden en hoogteverschillen zeker aanrader. Verblijf in het hotel/resort is ook aan te raden. Greens waren wat wisselvallig. Sommige hadden flink bruine plekken (schimmel?).

De omgeving is erg mooi. Het uiterlijk van de club en het gedrag van de mensen geeft je het gevoel dat het high-end is. Tot je de baan in gaat. De greens van Paradiso zijn erbarmelijk. Veel bruine plekken zonder gras. De holes worden op de slechtste plaatsen gestoken zonder gras. Algehele score van de baan (8.1 tijdens ons bezoek) is te hoog.
