Golf Club Palermo Parco Airoldi

We hadden tijd over voordat de boot vanuit Palermo vertrok. Dus boekten we via Leading Courses een starttijd op golf Palermo . Deze par 3/4 baan ligt middenin Palermo. De ingang was lastig te vinden, maar eenmaal aangekomen is het een oase van rust middenin het drukke Palermo. Je merkt wel dat ze niet echt vaak gastspelers ontvangen. Ontvangst was koel. De oefen faciliteiten prima. Driving range heeft beperkte lengte. (175 meter) De baan zelf en de greens laten qua onderhoud nog wel wat te wensen over. Veel zand op de greens. De omgeving is prachtig en dat maakt veel goed.

Prettig ontvangst en alle medewerking voor titleist leen set en buggy in de golfshop.

Een kleine oase in een drukke stad.

DR en putting green goed, extra zwem faciliteiten, welkom op een warme dag!

Compacte goed aangegeven negen holes coarse, met 4x3 en 5x4, meest rechtuit holes.

Redelijk smalle fairways en snelle greens!

Een aanrader voor een snelle ronde.

Wel prijzig voor 75 euro.

Goed te combineren met bezoek Palermo.

At the edge of Palermo, you'll find a quiet place where you can play 9 holes in, for me, a little paradise in town. Some golfers (from the States) complain about the short holes and the short game to play, but the most points you can win in golf are the strokes between 120 meters to the hole. Very nice atmosphere and great food. I hoped to speak with the president of the club because of his enthusiasm about this golf course. Sadly, he wasn't there.

Nice little city golf course almost in the middle of Palermo... the holes are not long (Par 32) but they are quite tricky, especially narrow par 4 holes.

The course is built in in a park from eighteenth century among old trees and several fountains and monuments of historical interest. It also offers nice views from the holes which are facing the Mount Pellegrino.

The course was in good condition with very nice fairways and decent greens.

Definitely something that every city would need... :).
