Montenmedio Golf CourseEen mooie glooiende parkbaan met goede zeer brede fairways. De greens waren geprikt en gezand en daarvoor kregen we behoorlijke korting op de greenfees. We hadden er niet veel last van. De receptie van het hotel is ook de receptie van de golfbaan en was erg vriendelijk. Het was in het hotel en op de baan niet druk. Een paar honderd meter van de receptie is het restaurant van het hotel, waar we hebben geluncht. Al met al lekker gegolfd op een prima en rustige golfbaan met uitzicht op Vejer en soms de zee.

Montenmedio Golf CourseGreat experience playing Montenmedio Golf & Country Club. A beautiful and varied course, perfectly integrated into its natural surroundings, with some really interesting and challenging holes. The layout offers a good mix of strategy and shot-making, making it an enjoyable round from start to finish. Definitely worth playing if you are in the Cádiz area.

Montenmedio Golf CourseJust north of Tarifa. Well laid out course and interesting to play. Plenty of different holes. Very undulating with a lot of changes in elevation to make it challenging. The trees which were a variety of olive and cork make for some very precise play. It is basically a parkland course with views to Vejer a white hill top town.Hole 5 has is full of hazards with trees on the left and a series of bunkers in a row on the right. Most of the course is par 4s with the hardest hole being very demanding of accuracy with a dog leg, trees stopping you going for the hero shot and a raised green. The greens were very true and very fast. Given all the recent rain it was well maintained.Facilities and clubhouse looked excellent. Very traditional architecture. Fantastic setting and very quiet. We got a good deal a €100 for 2 which is excellent for that course. It also has a driving range, putting practice area and a hotel on site.
