Golf Club Gut Glinde

Unser erster Platz den wir auf unserem Golftripp 2026 östlich von Hamburg spielten. Ausser dem durchschnittlichem Wetter (und dafür kann ja keiner was) gab es nichts zu beanstanden. Allerdings sollte man auf dem Fairway bleiben da abseits des kurz gemähten Geländes das Rough sehr herausfordernd und der Ball auch schon mal nicht mehr zu finden ist. Top gepflegter Platz mit sehr interessanten Bahnen. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden und kommen sicherlich wieder.

Geweldig mooie baan, super gastvrij en goed restaurant.

Pittige baan. De oefenfaciliteiten waren uitstekend. Lange par 5 van meer dan 500 meter. Aantal holes door water beschermd en redelijk veel water. De rough was echter een probleem. Veel zoeken naar ballen. Mede speler met roze bal was niet handig. Wat we ook misten was een water vulpunt. Het was warm. Hole 10 was hilarisch. Medespeler moest even plasje doen en toen hij achter afslagplaats dat deed keek hij naar ongeveer 100 saunagasten van een groot hotel. Al met al een baan die zeker de moeite waard is.

Waren per ongeluk beland bij een hoet/wellness resort waar een bord bij stond van golfbaan gut glinde. We moesten nog 300 mrt doorrijden voordat we bij het clubhuis waren. Ggg heeft nog een leuke shop. Gebouw is aan buitenkant en qua inrichting niet uitnodigend. Het was netjes maar heel degelijk. We konden greenfee en restaurant niet afrekenen met onze bankpassen. Kwam wel vaker voor met NL bankpassen, aldus ggg.

Baan is vrij vlak, beetje a la de Texelse in NL of de Dutch/ international. Leek dus beetje op links baan. Mooie holes, mooie waterpartijen, vrij breed. Bal naast de fairway is wel bal kwijt in hoge gras. Ook lange holes. Par 3’s van rond de 200 mtr. Par 5’s van langer dan 500 mtr. Greens waren traag. Fairways goed onderhouden. Wij hadden mooi weer maar als het een beetje waait dan lijkt me deze baan lastig te spelen. Helemaal met alle waterpartijen en ontelbare bunkers. Zeker aan te bevelen deze baan te spelen.

Played this course as part of an international golf trip with friends in the Hamburg area. As little impression as the clubhouse makes, so impressive is the golf course it self. The entire course is spaciously set-up. This also counts for the practice area with multiple covered and outside teeing places and various practice bunkers and practice greens.

Practicing bunker shots in advance is not a superfluous luxury, as there are many (on the 18 holes course at least). At the time we played the course, the roughs were quite high and densely grown, which made it a really tough course to play. Taking some extra balls with you is strongly recommended. The greens on the other hand, were not of the same difficulty.

On every tee there is a large and clear board with an overview of the hole, this makes it also for one-time players, like us, possible to make make a good estimate of what awaits you.

Gut Glinde is a relatively flat (little differences in height) and open course, with numerous bunker and water hazards. A tip on hot days is to take enough water with you, as there are NO water points on the course, except for the clubhouse at the turn.

All in all I would recommend playing this course when you're around.
