Together with a renovated relaxtion area, this new driving range, golfers can improve their skills while enjoying a modern and sophisticated atmosphere. The par 70 of the Menaggio and Cadenabbia Golf Club says something of the course, while short by modern standards it requires precision and careful thought. The simple length printed on the card does begin to describe the fascinating and unique nature of the ground, the obvious challenges and subtle difficulties, of the narrow fairways and the steep inclines. While the length of the course explains why the course has never, and probably never will be, a venue of International Opens. Menaggio e CadenabbiaEnvironnement magnifique, entouré de montagnes et quelques vues sur le lac de Côme, Mais le parcours en août est particulièrement sec, seuls les greens sont verts. Le parcours est technique, étroit, comporte de nombreux devers. Les chemins sont mais entretenus, la signalisation hasardeuse
Menaggio e CadenabbiaChallenging course with sloping fairways and greens. Even for 9 holes a buggy is recommended. We had to wait quite long on the flight that started 20 minutes ahead of us (who took 2h40m to complete 9 holes) and unfortunately there was no marshal to speed them up (not even after calling it in with the clubhouse). Other than that a decent experience and also a good restaurant.

Menaggio e CadenabbiaWieder mal hier sehr herausforderndes Golf auf gepflegter Anlage gespielt. Toller hügeliger Golfplatz , der mit Trolley auch physisch einiges abverlangt. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung , wenn man am Lago di Como verweilt. Wünschenswert wären jedoch auch mögliche Preisreduktionen wie Seniorentarife und „Sundowner“ . Menaggio e CadenabbiaPrachtig in de heuvels gelegen baan. Zéér geaccidenteerd. Vereist een redelijke conditie met een trolley. Volkomen rust, schitterende uitzichten over het Lago di Como. Greens re-de-lijk. Zeer vriendelijke medewerkers en een fraai clubhuis waar de historie van deze, op één na oudste, baan (in Italië) in elk detail bespeurbaar is.

Menaggio e CadenabbiaEin gepflegter aber sehr schwer zu spielender Platz mit viel bergauf und bergab. Übernachtung im Camper nicht möglich.

18 holesIn 1923, with the advent of Mr Wyatt, the course became a difficult 18-hole Par 64. In both 1907 and 1923 there was the supervision of John Henry Taylor a great English Professional of the time and winner of 5 Open Championships. In 1963, the then President Antonio Roncoroni called John Harris to redesign the course, which underwent a real revolution with the addition of 4 new holes and the modification of 8 others. The par was changed from 66 (the old 64 had undergone minor modifications) to 69. Today, the course has undergone some further modifications under the current presidency, bringing the par to 70. The plants have grown, the faiways have tightened up and the course is very delicate. The motto 'Far and Sure', present in the club's coat of arms, seems to be very appropriate for the player tackling the course for the first time.
