The Petersberg Golf Club was founded in 1988 and is the oldest club in South Tyrol. Petersberg is located on a high plateau between Deutschnofen and Aldein and can be reached from Bozen in about 30 minutes. The square and the clubhouse have been run by the Thaler family since it was founded and the gastronomy has received many awards for the excellent cuisine and the friendly staff.
The course, away from the streets and noise, is very demanding due to the many doglegs, but always fair. The design of the course was designed so that good players as well as players with a higher handicap get their money's worth. Most of the holes are surrounded by a beautiful mixed forest.
The course is located on a high plateau at approx. 1,200 meters above sea level on a former farm with its meadows and forests. The terrain is slightly hilly, but players can easily play the course on foot. There are enough golf cars available for those who prefer to drive.
