The Petite Suisse Country Club, located in the village of Christnach, is Luxembourg’s smallest 18-hole golf course, appreciated for its charm, peaceful setting, and beautiful natural surroundings. Situated less than 30 minutes from both Luxembourg City and Diekirch, the course lies in the heart of the impressive Natur- & Geopark Mëllerdall and is wonderfully flat and easy to walk. With 18 holes (Par 70), the layout is known for being technical and often narrow, making it especially appealing to golfers who enjoy straight and accurate play. The course features only three Par-5 holes, giving strategic golfers additional opportunities for smart play. Birdie chances are possible for players who approach the course thoughtfully, and the greens offer a normal, consistent speed suitable for golfers of all skill levels. The front nine lead through quiet forest scenery, while the back nine offer shorter Par-3 and Par-4 holes that encourage strategic shot-making. On this compact section of the course, holes 10–12 share a common fairway area, which adds a unique architectural character and requires mindful course management. The first tee is located behind the driving range (300 m), and players are encouraged to warm up before starting their round. The club offers one of the biggest and most complete practice facilities in the Greater Region, featuring a spacious driving range, a large putting green, and dedicated chipping and pitching areas. Petite Suisse is also the only golf club in Luxembourg with a 9-hole Pitch & Putt course, which can be played without a greencard, making the club particularly accessible for the broader golfing community. For the 18-hole course, a minimum handicap of 54 is required. Amenities include changing rooms and a selection of essential golf items such as balls and tees available at the reception. Guests should note that rental clubs are not available for the 18-hole course, but they are available for practice sessions and for the 9-hole Pitch & Putt. The clubhouse features a beautiful terrace, and the location is easy to reach by car or bus, making it highly convenient for visitors. The restaurant is open to everyone and is considered one of the best in the region. Due to high demand, a reservation is recommended on weekends.
