Lisia Polana

Last course of our trip. I wish we finish our tour with better course, but unfortunately not. I played many courses in Poland, so far this one is my leas favorite. Course is close to Warsaw airport. Clubhouse is nothing special it includes also accommodation. Quick check out, and we are off to play. Must say that we were not able to buy any drink to course cause they do have only glass bottles not any plastics. From first tee we played very slow, cause there were beginner who does not know that it would be nice to let us go through. The best part were the greens, they were so so. Fairways bit dry and hard and teeboxes uneven. So I could not suggest this one in Poland, there are other better to play.

A disappointment for me. It wasn't possible to buy any food for the round. The restaurant was supposed to be open until 8 PM, but it was already closed when we arrived at 7:30 PM, so we couldn't even buy a drink. The course was very boring and dry, and the tee boxes were poorly maintained. After the game, we wanted to shower, but the locker room was cluttered with golf bags and other items, making it impossible. I have played on much nicer and better courses in Poland.

Lisia Polana course is a quiet place to relax and recharge batteries. No crowds, no busy schedules and nothing elase to distract golfers. Course design is quite straight forward with front nine in the outter part of the course with out-of-bounds on the right and back nine in the inner part of the course. Trees are growing fast on the course which looked like meadow back ten years ago but now starts to reseamble park layout.

Best holes are 5th with downhill second shot into a narrow undulating green, mostly downwind dog leg left 9th, par five 11th with water in play on both opening shot and second shot and my favourite 15th hole, a shor, downhill par 4 with green guarded by water hazard in front.

Lisia used to have great lush carpets like fairways but now fiarways are dry which is alarming sign so early in May. Superintendants need to water the fairways more!

Ich habe jetzt schon 3 x dort gespielt und bin mit dem Wohnmobil angereist. Man hat uns einen tollen Service geboten und wir lieben diesen Platz.

un parcours plat, très intéressant à jouer car il est en pleine campagne, sans aucune nuisance, battu par les vents. Le tracé est varié et l'entretien très correct. L'accueil est très amical, le restaurant mérite que l'on s'y arrête pour déguster quelques spécialités polonaises.
