Black Water Links Golf Club

Having in mind that it was end of April the couse was in really good condition, the fairways were excellent.

I visited this new course deuring the annual road trip with my son. Easy to find with google maps. Arriving I had quite high expectations. I was lucky to have nice chat with headgreenkeeper regarding the course and the sustainability set up. So have to admit that they do a great job. At the moment there is still temporary clubhouse. New should be open 2026 latest. Also there is now new accomodation in nice small cabins. Anyway to the course. I appreciated very modern and nice driving range with Trackmans and also nice pitch area. Course also has small academy. First tee starts close to new cluhouse. Course is design as links style, and its obvious if you build it on corn field with no trees. So major danger here are the deep roughs, water and strong wind. Few elevation changes on holes around clubhouse situated and small hill. Holes offers variety of shot from Tiger lines to safe play. My suggestion for first visit is the safe play cause roughs are really like cabbage. Greens are easy to read no tough breaks however I got to see them during maintenance work in process. However fairways here are awesome. Nice juicy and soft. I suggest to visist this course which has really big potential to host a big venues in Poland.

Ich habe den Platz nach der Eröffnung 2023 dieses Jahr mehrmals gespielt, insbesondere auch bei extremen Bedingungen. So bei durchgehendem Regen, wie auch bei starken Windböen. Die Platzpflege ist absolut führend, ökologisch, mit der größten Armada an GPS geführten Rasenmähern, jederzeit in Topzustand. Bei Wind ergibt sich absolut kein Nachteil auf den 18 Bahnen, da sich die Windrichtung ohne Nachteil auf die 18 Löcher verteilt. Der Platz nimmt zudem perfekt Wasser auf und lässt selbst dann gute Spielbedingungen zu. Die Grüns sind spurtreu und lassen sich sehr gut spielen. So gibts Bahnen, die ein defensives Spiel belohnen, aber auch einige Bahnen, wie die 7 und 8 mit sehr gute Möglichkeiten, ebenso wie die jeweiligen Schlusslöcher 9 und 18. Für höhere HCPer sind die Monate von Ende Oktober bis April bei der Ballsuche abseits der Bahnen kaum Probleme mehr :-). Dazu kommt ein erstklassiger Kurzplatz, sowie eine Range mit Trackman, die für alle Spieler zugänglich ist, sowie eine Kurzspielarea. Auf die Fertigstellung des Clubhauses sollten sich alle Mitglieder freuen. Bedenkt man das Poznan ein Topanziehungspunkt ist, sind Besuche auf Black Water Links nur zu empfehlen. Wir werden uns auf 2025 freuen.

Brand new track near Poznan which opened just in July 22. Tee boxes, fairways, foregreens and bunkers are in immaculate conditions. Greens are a little soft and bumpy which is typical for grass sown just a year ago. Fesque grass in the rough was sown fairly rare so balls are easy to find. Course uses water from nearby sewege treatment (hence the name!) which is a huge advantage in times of water deficit. Some of the geens are watered from two watering lines. Club boasts immense practice area including a few pitch&putt holes.

Black Water is already the best links track in Poland and will be one of the best in the CEE region once owners built clubhouse and accomodation. Can't wait to visit this course again!
