About Real Novo Sancti Petri Golf Club
It was Severiano Ballesteros who designed this magnificent course with its two main features being its size and the views of the sea and the Blue Flag beach of La Barossa. It is situated on a private residential estate near to Chiclana de la Frontera. IBEROSTAR Novo Sancti Petri has 36 holes, both courses are Par 72. Originally constructed in 1990 with 27 holes, Seve Ballesteros returned in 2001 to add another 9 Holes, which now form holes 5-13 on the B Course. The course was designed in line with American aesthetic tastes and it is a real joy to walk around. It is covered with numerous species of tree from Palm Trees to Cork Oak, and you can see the sea from several holes on both courses. The lakes take on a special importance on the long, wide fairways, which are perfect for big hitters. There are numerous hotels near the course, with perhaps the best being the IBEROSTAR Royal Andalus 4* Hotel and IBEROSTAR Andalucia Playa 5* Hotel, situated a mere 3 minutes walk from the course. Practice facilities are perhaps one of the best in Spain, boasting over 8000 m2 of Wide, Flat, Driving Range, multiple Putting areas and even several Par 3 holes to work on your short game.

B: Centro course (Center)Jugamos en recorrido B porque el A estaba de mantenimiento. Campo de golf amable y bien mantenido donde tienes que pensar muy bien los tiros ya que en muchas ocasiones antes del green a 70- 100 metros te encuentras un pino gigante que te limita. Recomendable jugarlo, en verano tuvimos que aparcar fuera en aparcamiento regulado. Jugamos en buggy pero se puede hacer andando. Buena casa club para luego tomarte algo relajado.

B: Centro course (Center)A: Mar y Pinos course (Sea / Pines)Es un campo espectacular diseñado por Severiano Ballesteros. Las vistas a la playa de La Barrosa son increíbles. Los greenes están muy bien cuidados y el diseño es un reto fantástico. ¡Totalmente recomendable si viajas en otoño o primavera!Tip for groups: If you travel with friends or family and want to avoid expensive hotels, we stayed at a private local villa called "La Buganvilla" just 3 minutes away from La Estancia and Novo Sancti Petri. It has a great garden, pool, fast Wi-Fi, and private closed parking for the rental car. You can find it directly on Airbnb or Vrbo in Chiclana. Perfect setup for a golf holiday!

B: Centro course (Center)Geweldige mooie baan zeer goed onderhouden en met snelle greens. Uitdagende doglegs en mooie par 5-en. Baan is vanaf de back tee prima te spelen. Clubhuis is prima met goede shop en een lekker terras uitkijkend op de 18e van beide lussen.

A: Mar y Pinos course (Sea / Pines)Played the first 9 holes of Mar y Pinos. Beautiful holes and not too easy. Last time i played here was in 2019 in January and it was great to see some improvements such as on hole 6. The course was in good shape and i was happy to hit some good shots (to forget about the bad ones 😊). The staff were very friendly but i’m sure that playing with a member helped. Great driving range and practice facilities. I wonder why the average review is so low. I find this one compared to others in the area much better.
