Golf Del Guadiana

Geen must play, maar als je in de buurt bent toch wel de moeite waard. Het onderhoud is niet top in het ongetwijfeld moeilijke klimaat in extramadura, maar de prijs kwaliteit verhouding is zeker ok. (40€) De lay-out is afwisselend en na de ronde kan je je de verschillende holes apart herinneren, de gebroken tee-signs en oude bunkerharken moet je er bij nemen.

We waren op weg naar Portugal en maakten hier een stop om te golfen, omdat er een geweldig hotel (gratis opladen en echt niet duur) naast de golfbaan ligt.

Het was gelukkig droog, maar de baan was toch op veel plaatsen erg nat. De green fee was slechts 40 Euro pp, Een mooi clubhuis maar het gaf meer een gevoel van een grote kantine. Caddie master behulpzaam met slecht Engels maar niet echt geïnteresseerd. Driving range vanaf het gras met oude ballen. De tee niet echt bestaand en hobbelig. Fairways armoedig en kaal. Daarentegen zagen de greens er geweldig uit, ook waren ze snel. Lekker even rondgelopen, konden soms de weg niet vinden. Wel even leuk om te spelen maar dan met mooi weer.

Also the people i met in the course were wonderful and always they greeted me with a big smile. Dude! I'll certainly be back.
