Viksjö GK

Spelade en mycket trevlig höstrunda på en riktigt fin anläggning. Viksjö Golfklubb visar upp en fin parkbana, välskött. Jag upplevde att svårigheten var inspelen mot greenerna. Avslutade besöket med en god lunch inne i det trevliga klubbhuset.

The club seems to have renovated bunkers recently. I would not recommend playing here until the renovation is finished and grass is restored. Right now, it is near unplayable around bunkers/near many of the greens. I found the ground collapsing on one hole around the bunker...

About the course: Greens are fairly small, so requires good approach shots, there's plenty of room on most holes and it's a fun course to play.

The club house, surroundings, facilities, practice areas and parking are really good.

The whole experience was let down by the state of the course. Part of it was barely playable, there have been attempts to repair around all the bunkers, but it's very patchy and uneven. I would say the repairs have failed.

If the repairs would have been better executed, the whole course would have been very nice.

Viksjö GK have 27 holes,18 hole par 71, back tee 5930m, mens 5550m, ladies 4735m. The 9 hole course is a par 60,3150m.

Both courses are a bit hilly parkland courses where the 9 hole course is a bit tighter.

I played in November so not ideal for a review of a course in Sweden... But tee's were great, fairways cut with a bit of wet patches, bunkers ok, greens really good for the season.

I've tried to play this course all summer but it has been packed with people every day... that is not how I like to play golf so not until November I found it reasonable to tee off in the morning(after 10 the course was packed again!).

The course is fun to play and pretty wide open on most holes with little rough. Scoreable and you will not lose to many balls on it either. Worth to play if you get a tee time but if you are looking for an outstanding course then there are better courses in Stockholm to play.

Fullstor Golfbana mycket nära Stockholm city. I god kondition och många utmanande hål. Bra restaurang, vackert belägen med tuffa bunkrar och vatten.

Ett måste för dig som vill spela bra golf utan att behöva resa mer än 30 min från Centrala Stockholm.
