Sehr schöner Platz, unglaubliches Panorama. Ist ein kurzer Platz, jedoch tricky zu spielen.

This course sits a significant height, but is only moderately undulating so one can walk it quite easily. The views are excellent. The course is very well maintained and offers a mix of long and short holes. The greens are generally not very large and the way they are set in the surrounding slopes provides interesting short game challenges.

I really enjoyed playing the course and the water on the course is provided directly from mountain streams!

My first Swiss Alps golf trip was wonderful and I get huge good emotions playing incredible courses here. First of all - amazing views, beautiful and well-kept surroundings and well maintained golf courses around. I had the opportunity to play on one of the best Swiss golf course - Golfclub Lenzerheide. Actually, Lenzerheide golf course is considered a gem among the old mountain courses in Switzerland. The course, although not very long (par 69, just under 5,200 m), is a challenge to play: it requires well-placed shots and a good strategy. A round on this picturesque course is actually a "must" for every golfer. Guests are really warmly welcomed at the Lenzerheide Golf Club. We had especially kindly and friendly communication from staff before and after round. The clubhouse, nestled in a sparse pine and spruce forest, was built in 2014 with tradition, charm, functionality and attention to detail! Very cozy small midway house with some drinks and snacks between 9 and 10 holes allows one to have a rest and fill energy to the second nine. Another important moment is that while playing at other golf courses, the locals, as agreed, recommended trying the cuisine of the clubhouse restaurant. Having tried it, we could do the same - recommend it to others. Not only did we have a delicious meal after a round of golf, but also at a very good price. The golf course itself is quite conveniently designed and easily navigated, but buggy is recommended if you are not a very strong walk lover. You can find some hilly holes and the distance between them is not short. First of all, the old tall trees that surround the fairway are fascinating. Greens are not large and sometimes difficult to hit from a longer distance, but soft enough and controlled. Rolling is not very difficult, but on the other hand the greens do not forgive mistakes and you need to concentrate a lot while rolling. A truly wonderful woodland golf course that is enjoyable to play from the first hole to the last. I could single out a few holes that left a bigger impression: - Hole No. 3 is the toughest of the course. You hit from a raised tee box and the fairway turns slightly to the left. The hole sets up nicely for a draw shot and can be tricky for slicers. You need to hit your ball over a ditch into a small green and try not to over hit it. - The 5th hole was short "risk-award" par 4 with only 265 meters long and played downhill. The green is definitely reachable but it is a small target and not accurate drive can make a lot of problems as the huge bunker awaits you. - Hole No. 10 average long par 5 green is reachable by second shot because a good drive on the firm fairways of Lenzerheide takes the ball rolling far and allows to atack the green from less than 180 m. Your second shot needs to be hit over a ditch and the green is guarded by a well placed bunker on the right. Another challenger. - 15th hole par 5 green also reachable by second shot. It is one of the shortest par 5, but dogleg to the left requires an accurate and long drive. Actually the green is not very easy and you can't relax while putting on it too. - The last hole easy par 3 is dedicated to finish with birdie and return to the clubhouse in a good mood. Without a doubt, the golf course is very picturesque with the opening panorama of the mountains. Course a challenging for the all level handicappers. Every golf course rating is always a subject with a lot of subjectivity, depending on various criteria. I always rating by the following criteria‘s: course complexity or challenging, fields condition (especially greens & fairways), service (only what you can get: buggies, clubs rent, condition of clubs, the amount of choice and etc. except staff and other subjective things that depends on your or staff mood), surrounding views or pleasure to the eyes and definitely value for the price. All criteria will be rated from 1 to 5 stars. Concerning Lenzerheide my personal opinion is follow: 1. Challenging – 4* 2. Condition – 4* 3. Service - 4*+ 4. Surroundings – 5* 5. Value for the price – 4*+ I'll definitely come back next time.

Was für ein Sommertag! Anfangs zuerst skeptisch, jedoch dann wahnsinnig positiv überrascht. Ich hatte eine tolle Golfrunde auf einem sehr schönen Golfplatz. Auch das Restaurant hat mich 100% überzeugt. Ich komme wieder und freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Urlaub.
