Golf Club Breitenloo

Great course just north of Zurich. Played it as part of the Zurich Meisterschaften, the final round was on this course. It's a parkland course, with a bit more trees than some similar golf course in Switzerland. Conditions are very good and the course is fun and challenging. Front 9 has three of each Par 3,4 and 5, which is something I like now and then. Second nine a bit more tricky and some good golf shots needed to make a good score. Facilities and restaurant are very good, as expected for a club with the stature of Breitenloo.

Eine wunderschöne private Golfanlage. Da könnte sich so mancher Club eine Scheibe abschneiden. Natürlich muss man berücksichtien dass man hier nicht auf Kommerz ausgerichtet ist, wie zB bei Club Golf. Sehr gepflegter Platz, greens waren extrem schnell, machmal etwas unfair, zB bei Wasserhindernissen am green ist bis zur Wasserkante gemäht = Ballverlust.

Ort sehr schön, Platz ist in einem guten Zustand. Technisch eher einfach.

Leider nur zugänglich für Mitglieder, als Gast wird Dir oft gezeigt, dass sie Dein Geld nicht brauchen... nun ja!

Der Flughafen Zürich-Kloten liegt kaum zehn Kilometer vom Golfplatz Breitenloo entfernt. Auf der eigenlich sehr ruhigen Anlage selbst da sind die landenden Flughzeuge schon manchmal zu hören. Die Region zwischen Kloten und Winterthur wird von sanften Hügeln geprägt und bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf Alpen und Glattal. Beim Bau des Kurses wurde Wert darauf gelegt, so wenig wie möglich in die Natur einzugreifen was zu eine abwechslungsreichen und schönen Parkland Kurs geführt hat. Vor ein paar Jahren wurden die Schlusslöcher modernisiert, was den Platz in seiner Attraktivität weiter gestärkt hat. Auch das neue Clubhaus ist toll geworden. Die Driving Rang gehörte schon immer zum schönsten was eine idyllische Trainingsanlage bieten kann.

Zurich-Kloten airport is just ten kilometres from the Breitenloo golf course. The landing planes can sometimes be heard on the very quiet course itself. The region between Kloten and Winterthur is characterised by rolling hills and offers a magnificent view of the Alps and Glattal. During the construction of the course it was important to intervene as little as possible in nature, which led to a varied and beautiful parkland course. A few years ago the final holes were modernized, which further strengthened the attractiveness of the course. The new clubhouse has also become great. The Driving Rang has always been one of the most beautiful things an idyllic training facility can offer.
