Golf Campo De Layos

Een leuke baan, onderweg naar het zuiden. De baan heeft fantastisch snelle en lastige greens. De fairways lijken kaal, doch zijn goed te bespelen. Uitzichten zijn telkens anders. Mooi.

Tenia muchas ganas de volver a jugar Layos y no ha decepcionado. El campo tenia fama de tener un rough complicado, y no ha cambiado! No es que sea especialmente alto, pero se traga las bolas con mucha facilidad y complica mucho los golpes. Pero las calles suelen ser bastante generosas. El recorrido es muy variado y alterna hoyos con nivel de complejidad diferentes. En todos, los greenes son bastantes rápidos y con caídas que merecen toda nuestra atención y lectura. El tri-pateo es común …! En caso de altas temperaturas se recomienda buggy ya que es campo se extiende entre la urbanización y las distancias entre hoyos pueden ser algo largas. La cancha podría mejorar, empezando por la calidad y cantidad de bolas que obtienes con una moneda de 1 euro.

Op weg naar Madrid deze matige golfbaan aangedaan. Het begon al bij het clubhuis dat behoorlijk amateuristisch is opgezet met medewerkster die geen Engels spreekt. En dan het rommelige begin van de baan, je handen jeuken om de boel eens flink op te ruimen. De baan is verder best aardig aangelegd en de greens zijn niet slecht maar het onderhoud op en rond de baan (eind februari) laat te wensen over.

Leuke baan, die een uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit verhouding heeft. Onderhoud is oké, voorzieningen prima. De baan ligt in een (deels nog in aanbouw zijnde) urbanisatie. Afstanden tussen de holes zijn soms dus behoorlijk lang. We hebben ons prima vermaakt.

Good parkland course just south of Toledo. Overall in good condition, but some of the fairways had dry patches, creating challenging lies. Attractive views of the rolling countryside, but the residential development surrounding the course is not the most picturesque. The course is quite long (Just over 6,000 meters from the yellow tees and an impressive 6,500 from the whites), and with exception of the very short island par 3, most of the holes require good length from the tee. Add the many doglegs and strategically placed bunkers, and this is a very enjoyable, challenging design. We paid 30 Euros for our round, which was an absolute steal.
