Ein ruhig gelegener, hügeliger und abwechslungsreicher Golfplatz. Schläge aus Schräglagen sind häufig erforderlich und das gilt auch für die Grüns. Die waren nämlich sehr schnell, so dass das Putten nicht leicht gewesen ist. Durch die Lage auf der kleinen Halbinsel kommt auch noch Wind ins Spiel. Die Fairways haben unter der Trockenheit gelitten und die T-Boxen waren etwas ramponiert. Die Grüns waren aber wie gesagt in 1A Zustand. Auf einer Seite des Platzes verlaufen die Spielbahnen entlang von Wohnhäusern, was hier aber überhaupt nicht gestört hat. Wir waren Montags hier, es war kaum was los. Eine Startzeit mussten wir also nicht vorab buchen. Ich kann den Platz empfehlen.

This is a par 71 with a length of 5500m. Therefore not a long course but because of te design and a very affordable greenfee NZ$ 40, = it is a good value for money. Further if you lucky and the wind is blowing a bit you donot mind it is a bit shorter. The course is not difficult to play with a trolley and golf-cart not required if you have no physical problems. They have a couple demanding holes and hole 4 is one of them with a green on a hill site with steep drops, so if not aiming left "good luck" with a minimal double bogey. Maintenance is fine and so are the greens. Further the usual hazards are available, water, bunkers and out of Bounds. High trees on strategic location on dogleg holes will avoid you to go to the green. A nice challenge and clubhouse is nice with pleasant staff to talk to. Monday it is closed and all the other days nice views, drinks etc makes you day very pleasant.

Les trous sont très différents les uns des autres et la faune aviaire très présente

Les greens n’étaient pas très roulants mais très bien entretenus

Superbe golf paysagé au bout de la péninsule de Whangaparaoa, (nord d'Auckland) extrêmement roulant. Trous de difficultés variables avec beaucoup de devers, qualité des greens perfectibles. Parcours très agréable au milieu de très beaux arbres d'espèces différentes et au chant des oiseaux..

Digne de la réputation des golfs de Nouvelle -Zélande, à un prix abordable même pour les étrangers.
