Antognolla Golf Club

An absolutely outstanding golf course and one of the most beautiful we have ever played! Antognolla Golf is set in a truly spectacular location, surrounded by the stunning hills and unspoiled nature of Umbria. The scenery, peaceful atmosphere and views are simply exceptional. The course itself is immaculately maintained. The fairways, greens, bunkers and the entire property are in superb condition. You immediately notice the exceptional attention to detail and the high standards throughout the course. From a golfing perspective, Antognolla is fantastic: challenging, varied and beautifully integrated into the natural landscape. Almost every hole offers something special, with breathtaking views and a wonderful sense of space and tranquillity. A world-class golf course in an extraordinary setting – outstanding maintenance, beautiful scenery and a truly memorable golfing experience.

Een van de mooiste banen waar ik ooit gespeeld heb. Het uitzicht is werkelijk prachtig overal, de baan ligt in een valei. Veel hoogte verschil in de baan dus het huren van een buggy is aanbevolen. Deze staan al klaar bij aankomst op de parkeerplaats. De greens waren niet heel erg snel. Het kasteel wat te zien is op sociale media is niet het clubhuis, deze ligt aan de overkant van de weg. Het clubhuis is erg schattig en het restaurant was goed. Al het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

In onze vakantie twee keer op Antognolla mogen spelen. Ondanks dag het nog een stuk rijden was van onze plek hadden we dit er voorover. Na veel gezien en gelezen te hebben moesten we hier naartoe. Wat een prachtige baan is dit. Ontvangst met het ophalen van de buggy incl flesje water en naambordje tot korte uitleg op de starthole was top. Los van de technische moeilijkheden is de baan een parel om te zien. Hoogte verschillen, vegetatie en omgeving maken het dat je echt in Italie begeeft. Technisch is de baan super uitdagend. Course management is key om er goed doorheen te komen. Enige nadeel was dat de fairways op veel plekken zacht waren waardoor de bal geplugt lag en geen rol kende. Verder was het onderhouden van alle onderdelen top top!!

Mooie goed onderhouden baan in een geweldige omgeving

Great experience! From the white Tees a tough course and much slope on some holes. I would recommend a cart! The general impressions from the entrance to the restaurant and the restrooms are amazing! The Restaurant deserves a Michelin star in my opinion!
