Reading Country Club

Don’t judge a book by its cover, your first impression of the Reading golf clubhouse and parking area is not the greatest. But then when you walk onto the course, it is a different scene. It’s a beautiful course and offers everything a golfer could ask for. The fairways and greens are in a good condition and the scenery so amazing. It’s indeed a challenging course and have enough water holes to test your skills. Good day out all together.

The course is in very good condition, even when the air is dry and there is very little rainfall. Greens are tricky and make the game extra interesting. One thing though, is that some greens are soft on approach and others are like hitting the cement. Makes approach shot very hard to judge as you are unsure of the state of the greens. The way the field is set off from the tee boxes is very well managed and ensures the field from being bunched up. Staff at the pro shop and clubhouse is very friendly and makes a non-member from the club feel right at home. We will play many rounds here as this is a fantastic club and course.

The members at this club are not happy people. I wouldn’t suggest playing here.
