Golf De La Gloriette

This is a quality course staffed by friendly and accommodating people. I was visiting from the southwest United States making my first golf outing in France. The course was accessible on foot and near tram in Tours, yet it felt light like a nice escape from the city at the same time. The pro at the club house was kind and spoke English sparing me from having to struggle with my broken French. The course offers affordable club rentals. I played the classic nine hole course, it appears to be a simple straightforward course, not very busy as it's the low season I had the course largely to myself. The course has an extensive drainage system that creates interesting water hazards on most holes, these made for a very unique and enjoyable game. Be sure to bring a few extra balls. On my return to the clubhouse I booked another round for next week.

C’est un bon golf d’entraînement

Le 9 trous est quelconque mais le pitch and putt de 18 trous est un outil très fun et utile que j’aime aller jouer qq fois par an

L’accueil n’a jamais été très sympathique et on ne reste pas vraiment pour boire un verre.

Nous avons joué sous une pluie fine, le parcours était correct en cette période. Les fairways et les roughs sont relativement bon. Les greens sont en excellent état et plaisant à jouer. L’accueil était très cordial ainsi que le rapport qualité prix.

The green has a good mantenance. The people are very frendly. They have very good mantenance on fairways and green. We could play very fast after paying. They didnt have trolley so we got a buggy for nothing. Is rather easy to play. Its only 9 holes but also interesting. the bunkers are very hard sand try to avoid them. You dont have to pay extra if you are foreigner. In Some golfcourses in France they do. After a Very dry season you can see they do a lot to keep everything green. The greens are fast. They have parking. For people with mobility problems you can easy this play. They dont have douche facilities but you can drink a cold beer in the small terrace.

Wel een enorm verrschil geen kleedkamer met douches wel mooie drivingrange een pitch en putbaan en 9 holes vlak rechtop en neer langs weg.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel.
