Outstanding golf. Best in Bayern - 100%. Play it! Lovely course with a great design and beautiful surroundings. Will be back for more.

I had the pleasure of playing Wittelsbacher Golf Club just before the German Challenge on the HotelPlanner Tour, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The first positive impression came even before my arrival. Communication by email was friendly, quick, and professional. Access to the club is via a very narrow country road, but once you arrive, there are plenty of parking spaces available. The welcome in the pro shop was exceptionally warm. The staff were very friendly and there was a great selection of attractive club merchandise. One feature I particularly loved is the clubhouse layout. The 1st tee starts right behind the clubhouse, the 9th green finishes there, the 10th tee is just a few steps away, and the 18th green also returns to the clubhouse. It creates a fantastic atmosphere and makes the course very enjoyable to play. The course itself is beautifully designed. The distance is quite long with from the Championship (White) tees: 6,816 metres (7,454 yards) – Par 72, it demands smart course management rather than just power. The mature trees lining many holes create tight playing corridors, so accuracy is rewarded on nearly every shot. Considering the long period without rain and the high temperatures, I was genuinely impressed by the course conditions. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were all in excellent shape and a real testament to the greenkeeping team's hard work. After the round, the experience continued on the beautiful restaurant terrace overlooking the course. The food was excellent, the atmosphere relaxing, and the service was outstanding. Overall, Wittelsbacher Golf Club offers everything you could wish for: a challenging championship course, excellent conditioning, genuine hospitality, and first-class facilities. I can absolutely understand why it has become a venue for the German Challenge and would highly recommend it to every golfer.

Wenn es eben etwas besonderes sein muss! Ich hatte am 29.04.2026 einen besonderen Gast aus Singapur zu begleiten – und dafür musste ich einen besonderen Golfplatz wählen. Der Wittelsbacher erfüllt all meine Wünsche. Freundliches, zuvorkommendes Entgegennehmen meiner telefonischen Anfrage einer Startzeit – wenn auch nur 2 Tage im voraus (aber für alle), inklusive einer kurzfristigen Anpassung der Startzeit an das „etwas andere“ Pünktlichkeitsniveau. Liebenswerter Empfang mit allen Hinweisen, die es benötigt. Ein früh geöffnetes Restaurant mit einer Terasse und Ausblick, der dem Gast – wie auch mir – Vorfreue auf das Spiel eröffnet. Eine gute Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken verbunden mit einem höflich-freundlichen Service. Und dann dieser Golfplatz; Wundervolle Blüte der umfassenden Heckengewächse, die den Platz rundherum abschirmen. Der leuchtend gelbe Raps im Hintergund – und trotz der allgemeinen Trockenheit, dieser frisch grün gedeihende Wald mit seinen perfekten Fairways. Während das Rough noch kurz und verzeihend ist, mögen die Grüns ein bisschen langsam wirken – aber optisch makellos. Die 18 Loch entspannt, eingebettet in Mitglieder Startzeiten. Allesamt tiefenentspannt und fehlerverzeihend. So eine angehme Runde muss man erst mal finden. Wenn´s was besonderes sein muss (!), fahre ich nach Rohrenfeld bei Neuburg / Donau!

Prachtige, heel goed onderhouden golfclub. Met als kers op de taart dat je mag slapen in het clubhuis. Een waar feest om hier te zijn

What a golf course! Between very old oaks and pure nature you have a very special feeling! Sometimes you have to play very smart and clever to save par. Greens, Fairways and Tee Boxes are very good for middle europe wheter conditons. The Club House is outstanding with a very unique restaurant.
