The porto elounda golf club hosts a Golf Academy with a PGA professional Team, offering the opportunity of either learning to play golf during one’s holiday, or of boosting one’s golf techniques. Especially for beginners, classes are arranged in such a way as to maximize the knowledge acquired, even during a short stay at the resort. The Pro-Shop, situated in the shopping center of the hotel, can provide all the necessary equipment and souvenirs. And for the “19th hole”, or even just for a pause between holes, there are unlimited options: The Beach Bar next to the seaside pool, the Italian Aglio e Olio Restaurant or the Odysseus Restaurant on the waterfront are three very enticing alternatives!

Porto Elunda Golf CourseKleine maar superleuke en goed onderhouden baan, uitdagend door de helling naar de zee toe. Een mooi parcours met olijfbomen en een fantastisch zicht op de baai. Originele afslag naar hole 1, bovenop het dak van het wellnesscenter. Erg schappelijke green fee en huur van clubs. Bijzonder vriendelijk personeel, zowel in het bijhorende hotel als in de pro shop.

Porto Elunda Golf CourseCe parcours est un pitch & putt situé dans l'enceinte du complexe hôtelier Porto Elounda. On pourrait penser qu'un tel parcours est destiné aux débutants, mais il n'en est rien. Pour atteindre le green il faut, sur certains trous, passer au-dessus d'un chemin ou d'une route. Le parcours est majoritairement en pente. Il faut donc une maîtrise certaine pour y jouer un score correct.

9 holesPorto elounda is a Par-3 golf course, but it is nothing like a typical pitch n’ putt course, since it consists of 9 par-3 holes which vary in length between 68 and 150 meters. The result: one of the longest par-3 courses in Europe, a challenge not only for beginners, but also for experienced golfers. A challenge that is enhanced by the presence of trees, shrubs, small slopes and sand traps, adding a significant level of difficulty to the game. The aim, of course, is not only to challenge the players, but also to provide a pleasurable experience. The fascinating views throughout the course certainly play a large role here. The holes with a noticeably stronger character are the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th. Playing there, one feels like flying over a scenery that must be seen to be believed!
