Absolutely amazing views and a very well maintained golf course. It's now an 18 hole course and it's just beautiful.

Wat een prachtige baan, absolute aanrader! Jammer dat er nog geen 18 holes zijn, maar slechts 12. Wij hebben de eerste 6 nog een 2e keer gespeeld om tot de 18 te komen. De aanleg van de laatste 6 holes is in volle gang en zag er al prachtig uit. Wij hadden de mazzel dat het mooi weer was en windstil, wat zeker het spel ten goede komt, want uit ervaring weet ik dat het ook veel kan waaien en regenen op IJsland. Jammer is dat er geen driving range aanwezig is, dus je kunt alleen putten en chippen voor aanvang van je ronde. Zeer kleine golfshop, maar eea goed beschikbaar.

Islands erster Privater Golfplatz liegt gegenüber der Hauptstadt Reyikiavik und bietet als klassischer Links Course fantastische Ausblicke in die Natur und gilt heute schon als schönster Golfplatz der Insel. Die Anlage wird 2025/26 von 12 auf 18 Löcher erweitert und das Clubhaus noch einmal vergrössert. Man kann die Tee Time auch gleich mit Abholservice aus Reykjavik buchen. Ein Golf und Naturerlebnis das Sie sich nicht entgehen lassen sollten. Zumal Sie im Sommer bis nach Mitternacht Golf spielen können, ein einzigartiges Erlebnis.

Iceland's first private golf course is located opposite the capital Reyikiavik and, as a classic links course, offers fantastic views of nature and is already considered the most beautiful golf course on the island. The course will be extended from 12 to 18 holes in 2025/26 and the clubhouse will be enlarged once again. You can also book your tee time with a pick-up service from Reykjavik. A golf and nature experience not to be missed. In summer you can play golf until after midnight, a unique experience.

Brautarholt is one of the most memorable golf courses I have played, mainly because of its extraordinary location. The course sits directly on the Icelandic coastline, with the ocean, mountains and volcanic landscape accompanying you throughout the round. The layout is relatively compact, but every hole has its own character. You constantly need to consider the wind, which can completely change club selection and the way a hole plays. The highlight for me was the par-3 5th, where the shot must carry a black-sand beach before reaching the green. It is a spectacular hole, but also a real golf challenge. I played Brautarholt during the midnight sun, which made the experience even more unusual. Playing late in the evening with almost no darkness and complete silence around the course is something I will not forget. The course conditions were very good, especially considering the exposed Icelandic environment. A unique and authentic golf experience, very different from anything you normally find in continental Europe.

Vilken bana!

12 hål av ren och skär njutning. Du anländer efter en lång kärning på en grusväg, du tror länge att du kört vilse. Väl framme möte du av en panorama utsikt likt en tavla. Klubbhuset inte större än 60 kvm men med glasfönster överallt för att njuta av landskapet.

I skrivande stund håller dem på och utökar med ytterligare 9 hål vilket kommer göra banan än mer tilltalande. Har strak tro till att detta kommer vara Islands mest eftertraktade bana inom 5 år.

Detta är ett måste för den som besöker Island!
