Claremorris Golf Club

A standard golf club and course, but not boring. It has a number of dogleg holes, left and right and the course design is quite hilly with several blind shots or steaply uphill. Variety of holes is probably the biggest asset of the course, as otherwise it is quite basic: restaurant, facilities, surroundings, etc.

Good: Stunning course frequently used for Inter Club, Provincial and National competitions. Green fees could be much higher - fantastic value.

Improve: Bar has food only for groups and ordered in advance. However good restaurants nearby. Two miles the the Old Arch - good food all day.

The course is doing well considering the weather that has been in the area of late.

when weather clears up, course will begin to look better.

Incredible welcome, fantastic greens... Very interesting course with Water involved on a lot of holes... It has loads of challenges that are varied to keep you very keen throughout the round...

And possibly the friendliest club in the west of Ireland, you get a feeling of being welcomed into some one home for the day...

Got a very warm welcome. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The course was in very good condition. The greens were superb being true and fast.

This is a little gem and would highly recommend.
