Fioranello Golf Club

Fioranello is not the prettiest course in the world. But the lay-out is fun and the people were very friendly. So if you are in the neighborhood and fancy a quirky round (a scramble with mates for example), this is a fun course. But don’t expect great maintenance, freshly mowed fairways or beautiful tee boxes. Highlight for us was the very friendly reception. Reception, shop and the restaurant, everyone was extremely nice and tried their best for their visitors. From a couple of places on the course you also get a lovely view of the Castelli Romani region. Very pretty. Tip if you fancy a warm up. The range is located next to hole 2 and you drive past it on your way to the clubhouse. If you want to warm up, stop there before going to the clubhouse.

Leuke golfbaan, erg vriendelijke mensen. Holes 1 - 9 zijn mooi, holes 10 - 18 duidelijk minder. Behoorlijke afstand naar start en van einde naar clubhuis. Leuk om een keer te spelen.

Parkeerplaats moeilijk te vinden. Alles slecht aangegeven. Eenmaal bij het clubhuis heel vriendelijk ontvangen. Het Engels spreken ging nog niet zo goed maar welwillend en ze was al op cursus. Chappo! Caddymaster was niet echt vriendelijk maar deed wat hij moest doen. Teebox en fairway zijn niet echt goed. De greens zijn redelijk. Hoogteverschillen en de verschillende doglegs maken de baan spannend. Alles overzien is de 60 euro het niet waard.

Il club si trova a pochi Km da Roma, immerso nel verde della campagna romana a ridosso del Parco dell Appia Antica, circondato dalla panoramica visione dei Castelli Romani, un percorso

tranquillo e silenzioso, un par 70 che si fa rispettare lungo 5577 mt dai gialli. Attenzione alle buche 3 un par 4 di 335 mt con dogleg a sx attravesato da un canale e green be protetto, la buca 9 un par 3 di 197 mt con fuori limite per tutta la lunghezza sulla dx, la buca 15 un par 4 di 403 mt con fuo ari limite a dx acqua a sx e dx per tutta la lunghezza. il percorso si conclude al ristorane DICIOTTO da cui si puo ammirare la buca 18 gustando le varie specialita.

Ottima accoglienza del personale, campo un po’ provato dalla calda estate, percorso divertente, peccato per il campo pratica un po’ distante. Panorama molto bello.
