A wind exposed links experience with plenty of heather and water hazards. Most tee shots have a fairly sized landing zone and end of May it was quite easy to find the golf ball in the rough. Hard sandy ground, tightly cut fairways, sloping green complexes - that’s proper links golf and chipping over and across them was great fun. Greens were rolling great but not super fast. The few trees on the course are both, a beautiful scenery and in your way when placing the tee shot on the wrong side of the fairway. It was my second time at LJKG and i‘ll be back, for sure.

Ljunghusens Golfklubb erbjuder en av Sveriges mest unika golfupplevelser – en klassisk linksbana inbäddad i ljung, sanddyner och kustlandskap. När banan är i så magiskt skick som vid mitt besök är det svårt att inte bli imponerad. Greenerna är snabba och jämna, fairways välskötta, och layouten kräver både strategi och mod. Men ett gott råd: håll dig borta från ljungen – den är vacker, men skoningslös för snedslagna bollar.

Die mystische 27 Loch Links-Anlage direkt am Meer ist meiner Meinung nach des besten im südlichsten Teil Schwedens und überzeugt weit mehr als der renommierte Falsterböe Golfclub in der nahen Umgebung. Die 3x9 Löcher unterteilen sich in den Standardkurs (Gelb&Rot) sowie den 9-Loch Kurs (Weiss). Die Qualität von Fairway, Bunkern und Grüns sind überall erstklassig. Das Rough besteht im wesentlichen aus Heideflächen, die es Ihnen aber trotzdem nicht immer ermöglichen, den Ball zu finden, Hier finden Sie vielleicht mehr Wasserhindernisse als auf dem meisten anderen Links Golfplätzen. Die Bunker auf diesem Platz sind sehr gut platziert und auch die treuen Grüns machen viel Spass. Das moderne und zweckmässige Clubhaus bietet erstklassische Gastronomie einen toll assortieren Pro-Shop und saubere Umkleidekabinen an. Das flache Gelände kann gut zu Fuss bewältigt werden. Die Range ist leider sehr weit vom Club entfernt und eine Autofahrt zwischen Clubhaus und Range ist fast ein Muss. Allerdings bietet sich als Alternative vor dem Clubhaus eine wunderschöne 6 Loch Kurzplatz Anlage, Bunker und Chippingflächen sowie ein traumhaft angelegtes Übungsgün an. Dazu gibt es auch ein Netz für die langen Abschläge. Nach der Runde auf der idyllischen Restaurant Terrasse zu sitzen das Gelände und den Sonnenuntergang zu bewundern macht einen Besuch bestimmt zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis für alle Links Golf Enthusiasten. The mystical 27-hole links course right by the sea is, in my opinion, the best in the southernmost part of Sweden and is far more impressive than the renowned Falsterböe Golf Club in the neighbourhood. The 3x9 holes are divided into the standard course (yellow & red) and the 9-hole course (white). The quality of the fairways, bunkers and greens is first class everywhere. The rough is mainly heathland, but this does not always allow you to find the ball. You may find more water hazards here than on most other links courses. The bunkers on this course are very well placed and the loyal greens are also great fun. The modern and functional clubhouse offers first-class food and a well-stocked pro shop and clean changing rooms ar waiting for you. The flat terrain is easy to walk on foot. Unfortunately, the range is very far away from the club and a car journey between the clubhouse and the range is almost a must. However, there is a wonderful 6-hole short course, bunkers and chipping areas as well as a beautifully laid out practice green in front of the clubhouse. There is also a net for the long drives. After the round, sitting on the idyllic restaurant terrace and admiring the grounds and the sunset is sure to make a visit an unforgettable experience for all links golf enthusiasts.

Op deze links geen enorme duinen maar wel prachtige zichten op het water, interessante routing, goede bunkers en greens. Prijs (400 sek) / kwaliteit is uitzonderlijk!

Just nu blommar Ljungen på Ljunghusens GK - vackert men gör banan väldigt utmanande om man inte håller sig på fairway. Även om du hittar bollen är det bara att försöka hacka ut den och ta sin medicin.

Fairwayn brukar vara hård och bränd men just nu är den riktigt grön och turfen är underbar!

Banan har fantastiska vyer och det nya puttinggreenen börjar se klar ut. Kommer nig att bli riktgt bra nästa år.

Om man ska vara lite kristisk mot något så är greenerna något ojämna i hastighet och bollen rullar inte helt jämnt.
