Royal Mid-Surrey Golf Club

Great club with two courses. based in the heart of Richmond next to Kew Gardens. JH Taylor provides a decent test and a great surrey course!

Played the outer course with a member, a lovely bloke who knew the lay of the land.

Slightly boring course, mediocre maintenance.

Close to downtown London, which I guess is the main attraction.

Very friendly staff all around.

The JH Taylor golf course at Royal Mid Surrey makes the best use of its pancake flat property and with 18 new USGA specification green complexes now in play there is plenty of interest at this thriving venue located just 20 minutes from Central London.

Following a day of heavy rainfall, but months of dry weather, the course played extremely well; the fairways were firm and the greens ran well on my visit in mid-May.

Had one of my greatest golf experience here some time ago with two elderly gentlemen. Friendly great course.
