Golf des Confins

Sympa lá promenade golfique, il pourrait être un peu plus entretenu et dessiné Le panorama est somptueux Sympa le soir après une journée à la montagne Unhaur lieu du ski de fond l’hiver

Nous sommes tombés (sous le charme) complètement par hasard sur ce GOLF en visitant la Clusaz. C'est un golf simple et rustique dans le bon sens du terme, avec un très bon accueil, et dans un cadre absolument magnifique.

A jouer comme une belle promenade...

Les Confins is a driving range and 6 holes (3 with different tee-boxes) just higher up from La Clusaz. The Driving Range is a fair size (a little over 200 meters) and there are 20+ hitting mats. The balls were a bit mixed, some very old and some very new. After warming up we played the practice holes twice.

The holes are a good test for your short game but there are also 2 longer par 4's one is 250 meters with an interesting turn left at the end to the green and a 200 meter one (hole 5) with an elevated green. The quality of the maintenance was ok all though at some places (hole 3 & 4) the rough was so thick that it was impossible to find your ball even if you have missed the fairway by a meter...

I think the course has a lot of potential since there are a lot of visitors in summer who miss their home course in Paris also other tourists like myself can find this course via Leadingcourses and have a great couple of hours. Would be eve better if there was a small clubhouse where you can have drink afterwards. A couple of extra bunkers would be nice as well. Looking forward to come back and see how it has developed.
