Tuam Golf Club

Uninspiring glof course, flat and very few features. May only be good for the beginners, otherwise boring. You can play it cheaply when nothing else is available, but otherwise hard to recommend.

The golf course is in good shape some wet areas need to be improved.

One of the most welcoming clubs you will find anywhere. Areal family club.

There are many feature holes on this course. The tree in the middle of the first fairway is something that will remain in your mind for a long time.

Back to back par 5s at holes 2 and three are real challenges with lots to catch you out.

The par 4 4th rewards a good drive and leads to the 1st of the par threes at 174 metres to a narrow green its a real tester..

The 6th a dog leg uphill par 4 with a heavily sloping green will give the best golfers lots to think of.

The next is the second par 3 at 134mtrs is short but again a sloping green allows for lots of difficult pin positions is also well bunkered to the front.. The 8 th a par 4 with water right really rewards a drive placed as close to the water as possible, giving an easier second shot. The short par 4 9th needs a straight drive and a well placed second again to a green with lots of subtle breaks.

The 10th par four dog leg got to be down the middle. This followed by another long par 3 186 mtrs with another testing green. The par 5 12th is again rewarded by being straight as is the par 4 13 th a lovely gentle dog leg. now heading for home the 14 th 15 th 16 th are worthy of their indices 7,9,3, respectively.

to me the 17th is a real gem a short par 4 is what golf is all about, you got to plan it and then stick to your plan.

The par 5 18th is another gem and belies its high index.

If you miss this one it is your loss.

Très bon accueil et parcours super bien entretenu... Quelques trous qui se ressemblent avec un retour moins intéressant..
