Played this course number of times. Quite challenging for the beginners due to dogleg holes and massive trees at hole turning. Interesting to play, has several water hazards with with airplanes taking off/landing ocassionally next to the course. Very challenging par3 17th over the water inlet and often against the wind. The course is quite windy all the time due to the exposed location. Very nice restaurant with the bar and outside seating area. Nice putting green, but other practise facilities almost non-existant.

Very well kept course. Some lovely holes tree-lined and narrow fairways. A good test of golf.

Course is immaculate, great value and staff are super friendly. Great availability for tee-times and just off the motorway so very easy to get to. More practice facilities are in need to get a full five stars, but the putting green does run exceptionally smooth. Food in the bar afterwards was top notch. The course is situated right next to Shannon Airport so if your planning a trip to Ireland this course is a super one to start with and you can be on the course twenty minutes after landing! Two holes which really stick in the memory for me are the closing holes. The par 3 seventeenth sits perilously close to the shannon estuary so anything off line is gone! Straight after you have the par 5 eighteenth which is a super closing hole. Watch out for a plaque which is dedicated to Greg Norman and a whopping great long drive he had there!

The Practice facilities were minimal,

Putting green was good, but the chipping area could be rearranged a bit better.

All in all on playing the course i was very impressed. fine course and in good condition.

Need to plot your way around it. I will definitely be playing this course again
